Burlingame sounds like the ticket in talking to KWAK on the phone. 15 minutes to the stadium is not bad at all.......Hyatt and Westin sound good to me although I have no clue about either.

I still don't know if I can go on this trip. It looks like it's going to be a last minute thing for me if I'm able to make it.

We are going to party down but hey good company makes up for people who do not partake or imbibe.

It is always a classic event getting together with Bolt fans. Never have I seen anything go bad - never. We have suffered long enough that the family - no matter how dysfunctional - is the family.

    Go Chargers !!! :rockout: :icon_beerbang: :icon_party:

Thanks for pointing me this way for info Trumpy. I emailed the broker, hope to have ticket taken care of in the next few days. Then I will make other arrangements to get to SF.

For the hotel, does there seem to be a preferance for the Westin or the Hyatt?

    See yall there!

The hotel is a toss up at this point. Not sure really? Check back on this thread to see who is staying where. I suspect either hotel is killer and close to each other as well (Burlingame area) so .......

I'm not sure yet which one, as it'll depend on my buddy's preference.

    The Hyatt is in Burlingame.

    The Westin is in Millbrae.

Neither is a budget type hotel.

I just called the 49ers and we can get parking passes for the main lot we just have to be there a couple hours early. The parking pass is $25.00 so how many will we need? I know Trumpie is bringing a vehicle as well as kwak and myself. Anyone else? I'm bringing a BBQ and a cooler and I'll see if I can round up some chairs.

Can't we just pay for parking that day?

That's what I mean- I thought we had to have a parking pass for the main lot ahead of time. My bad. Are you bringing a vehicle? We all need to designate a place to meet (those of us with vehicles).

Yeah, I'm probably going to bring my truck. Let me know (whoever is in charge), if you want me to bring drinks. I'll go by BevMo on my way over and can bring some brews.

I think everybody should grab whatever they can smuggle in via taxi, shuttle or whatever for brews and cokes.

Not everybody will be drinking alcohol. I am limited on Car space.

I am hoping someone can bring a mega sized already iced cooler which is empty for the people who just buy 18 packs but have no cooler or space. That would be killer.

I can only get one cooler in my rig and am using that for the grub.

Even dudes at hotels have access to a 7-11's or mini-marts within pisssing distance to buy a 12 pack of whatever and then everybody is on their own or bring your own or whatever to drink and no whining. :icon_mrgreen:

I am seeing hotels from $50 all the way to $200 per night on Expedia.com depending on how large you want to roll.

Hyatt is around 3 bones for two nights....I may end up at the Motel 2 1/2 ... who knows :icon_mrgreen:

What's the policy for brining in brews? I will volunteer to bring a big empty cooler.

To the parking lot - none.

Inside the stadium would be a no-no.

The Murph requires us to get a keg permit but no one ever does and normally just gets it on with whatever.

    KILLER !!! WOOHOOO !!!

I have a feeling a lot of people are flying and shuttling in which makes lugging a cooler a biatch.

That would be a community cooler of sorts - awesome. Thanks !!

Are you saying there is NO policy against bringing in booze OR are you saying we can't bring in booze period?

We'll have to get ice when we get closer. I have a two hour ride and don't want to show up with a water cooler.

There are no restrictions for bringing booze to a parking lot unless you have a keg.

You can not take alcohol inside any stadium period.

This does not include the parking lot.

If you want to bust out 15 bottles of tequila, no worries.

Generally, you need a keg permit by municipal ordinance to dispense beer in any parking lot. Keg = (~15 gallon drums) plus the tap etc etc.
