I can bring a cooler, but it's not the biggest one ever. Was also planning on bringing some homemade guacamole. Trump you'll have to let me know how many gross tons of guac will be required.
what can you homies tell me about these... either of these two would be PRIMO... smack dab between the SFO airport and Monster Park... and they'd be great to party at... Courtyard by Marriott/Oyster Point 1300 Veterans Blvd South San Francisco, CA Phone: 650-871-4100 Price: $54 - $275 Residence Inn by Marriott 1350 Veterans Blvd South San Francisco, CA Phone: 650-837-9000 Price: $59 - $300 have always enjoyed the Courtyards.... and shuttle close to SFO...
Leisure said he partied with a tranny at the Courtyard, so he agrees....that's a good place to "park" your sass.
I've never stayed at those. When I was in the Army, and had business in the Bay Area (I did lots of training stuff at Oakland Army Base, and the Presidio) I always got the military discount rates at the Hyatt or Westin. They would match the "cheaper" hotel rates to encourage military to stay there. So staying at a nice place cost the same as the mid-range places like Holiday Inn or Marriot Courtyard. I'll be riding up with an old military buddy from Fresno. Not sure where he'll want to stay. I'll let him make the call on the hotel, but if y'all agree to one place, I'll try for that.
still checkin options with Big Brother.... will keep you posted... and ya, it would be totally kewl, if we could have a bunch of BoltHeads in the same hood....
I am waiting what you knuckleheads zero in on then I will strike like a cobra for either the same spot or real close. I do not know San Francisco for crap so nobody ask me anything about locations. No clue. Me no sabe'.
kewl, we're workin on it... My bro, is a USF grad, and he will be in Mill Valley... he'll hook up with us on Sat... he offered to show us the sites... so that's an option,... but I told him we'd be partying like rock stars... he understood...
That is cool for the x-tra cooler space. Dudes are coming from all directions so I figure it would be a premium. On the guac....fuggiit....Whatever works. :icon_shrug: I am hoping to bust out a tub of salsa and hope the chips are not mangled. :icon_mrgreen:
Wish I can be with ya on this one. But, something came up so I can't go. It was going to be a family trip, but the plans had to be changed. Long story so I won't bore everyone. However... The place my family & I were going to stay at was the Embassy Suites Hotel-SF Airport. If you're a AAA member, you do get a discount. I think ours would have been about a $149/night with the discount, and this is for a one bedroom suite. This place is less than 5 miles from Monster park. Good luck!
Yeah, count me in on the pass. Bringing: BBQ, Cooler, Table, Chairs. I will see if I can drum up another cooler for the masses. When they say early are they talking game time or lot opening?
my bro told me he called the 9ers.... and for a 1:00pm game, the gates open at 9:30, but because of the car lines, he suggested 7am... maybe some of you know... we also need to know when we can walk-in.... I assume it's also 9:30 but...
Can't you just bring your rig? Put everyone in the trailer and we only pay for one parking pass. :icon_mrgreen:
I'll probably leave at 8am and get there around 10am. I'm not really sure how big SF fans are on tailgating these days, so I have no idea on how early you should arrive.
I will be in line at 7am to get in the parking lot. I want one of these parking passes as well so it is just a matter of figuring out how to get them ahead of time.
Too late..... We are used to arriving at the Murph at 4-5 AM just to get in line for a 6am opening time. To get good parking you have to get in line but Frisco is an unknown.
That's just it, we don't know if it's the same as the Murph. I don't want to go over there and not be able to drive in. Like I said, I don't know how die hard SF fans are these days. I'll go earlier once we get confirmation of when they open, etc. At the end of the day, if we were to get there early, I'll buy breakfast somewhere near the stadium.
Great, I'll be getting enough high beams as I drive over there early in the morning....no thanks. This does solve the ice cube dilemma though. :icon_mrgreen:
I miss not taking my truck for this trip. While we are in line waiting - we start to party and even if we get hungry - the gas BBQ is ready in minutes to eat breakfast. I have a system to cover contingencies and chorizo and eggs is the ticket but it takes up room for the carne asada and beer so it is a delicate balance for the gut. :icon_mrgreen:
If I could take a tractor trailer in there I would, but I'm damn sure the locals would have a hissy fit.
