Once the season starts, we can jump on the 49er boards and get a feel of the parking and what the fans recommend. I do not mind waiting in line. It is just like back home for gameday.

While we are in line waiting - we start to party and even if we get hungry - the gas BBQ is ready in minutes to eat breakfast. I have a system to cover contingencies and chorizo and eggs is the ticket but it takes up room for the carne asada and beer so it is a delicate balance for the gut. :icon_mrgreen:

L may still be in the Castro getting his own version of chorizo and huevos at that time.

I do not think I could describe what is about to invade their house.

We deal with the AFC West's vermin in the Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs and the 49'er fans are not anything worse than what we roll with year in and year out. Those fans are "soft" compared to this motley crew. Not that I want to diss their house but they will know Boltfans are representing and with class and some fine fly asss. :icon_mrgreen:

Speaking of San Francisco ..... Someone pointed me in the direction of the thread about "Rivers attitude" .... Nancy Gay of the SF Chronicle bashed Philip Rivers on the radio. Here is our lovely Athens, AL fan's response:

I just signed onto the signonsandiego.com forums and read a very disturbing thread about a statement you made pertaining to Philip Rivers.

You claim to have spoken to a coach, several players, etc. who had mentioned that Philip had a bad attitude?

I can tell you right now lady, you haven't seen a bad attitude...YET.

If you want to talk about a bad attitude, you talk about the many fans and friends of Philip Rivers who you have competely and throughly ticked off. Yes, people like me. People who know that what you said was nothing less than a sad attempt to bash a young man who is and always has been nothing but pure class and professionalism.

I would LOVE to tell you exactly what I think about your stupid comments about Philip's attitude. I am trying with every ounce of dignity that I have to not cuss your sorry butt up one side and down the other. If I said what I wanted to say, you would still be reeling from it weeks from now.

I am so sick and tired of all you so called reporters and experts who never have a clue about anything and yet you shoot your mouths off every chance you get.

Well, as we lovingly say down here in the South...this time lady, you have let you mouth overload your ***.

I have known and watched Philip Rivers play football since he was a Freshman at Athens High School. Our family followed his career to North Carolina State University and for four years watched him play football. When he was drafted, we adopted the San Diego Chargers as our new favorite NFL team. We have sat by, as has Philip, waiting for his opportunity to play the position he was born to play.

The absolute CLOSEST that young man has EVER came to complaining about anything was when he publicly stated that he was ready to play, be it San Diego or elsewhere. He also went on to say that he hoped it would be in San Diego but that he also wished his teammate Drew Brees all the best and that he would understand if he were the one who ended up on a different team. Would you prefer a teammate in your line up who did NOT want to play?!

Philip Rivers has the highest character, maturity level, natural ability to make people feel comfortable, strongest work ethic and respect for other people than I believe I've ever seen in another human being.

For a man of only 24 years old, he has shown himself to be a constant reminder of the "good" part of professional sports. He is a dedicated family man with three young daughters, married to his childhood sweetheart, comes from an amazing close family who I have never heard one bad word spoken about in my life!

The words "bad attitude" should never have even been spoken regarding Philip Rivers. You can ask anyone who has ever known him and they will highly praise his attitude, his zest for life, his drive, his determination, his respect for others, his commitment to himself, his family, to God, to the game of football and his teammates and coaches.

In this little hometown of Athens, Alabama where Philip is a local hero, he is looked upon as the best of role models for our children. So many of us fondly recall his days at Athens High, his intelligence, his taking time to make others feel special, his willingness to always put someone else first.

You, have barked up the wrong tree lady. Unless you can name specific coaches, players, etc. who said Philip Rivers has a bad attitude you need to keep your snide remarks to yourself. Because you frankly, do not have the least bit of a clue what you are talking about.

Will Philip be spoken of with respect in the media by his teammates? Yes, I am realistic. However, when there is a bad apple, you can bet that their teammates make their feelings known loudly. (T.O. comes to mind.) I have not heard and neither has anyone else, any such remark from any of Philip's teammates.

You, have been the ONLY person in any form of media in the past eleven years to EVER state that Philip Rivers has an attitude problem of any kind. He has only and always been praised for his attitude, his maturity and his dedication to those around him.

YOU, will probably remain the only person to ever state such foolishness because that is all that it is. It is a ridiculous attempt to start a vile, vicious attack on a person who has never had and will never have a "bad attitude" about anything in their life.

Until you know Philip Rivers, until you have talked to people who truly know Philip Rivers, then you have no business stating in a public forum of any kind that he has a bad attitude. You have only succeeded in making yourself a laughing stock among any and every person who knows Philip, has ever interviewed Philip or read or saw anything about Philip.

If I were the "said coaches, players, etc." whom you referred to as saying that Philip Rivers had a bad attitude, I'd be calling my attorney to sue you for liable. What you said is about as accurate as something you would read in the National Enquirer. In other words, you'd be well served to check your sources a bit better. Because for every hundred articles and interviews from players, coaches, teammates, etc. praising Philip Rivers...you are the lone person who has sunk to the level of tabloid drivel for a story.

You wanted attention with your comments. You certainly got it. However, you defintely lost any credibility and respect along with it.
