Ok, the Chargers just played a great game against the Patriots.

In 100 words tell us what you thought the keys to the game was. The posts will be put in the next Bugle.

 - HIGH ENERGY START! From the moment the game began the Chargers went out swinging.

 - Offensive/Defensive line play. Both stepped up their game this week against a solid opponent. The Pats may not have Tom Brady, but they do have a host of talented players who were manhandled by the Bolts.

 - Quentin Jammer. Not only did he strip Randy Moss of a sure touchdown, but he nearly made him dissappear. Oh and did I mention he got two picks? Yeah I know the stats only show one pick - but we all know the ref screwed up the call and Jammer got two. His pro-bowl caliber play on Sunday kept at least 14 Patriots points off the board.

The obvious keys to the game was the defense finally showed up. Cottrell finally started listening to some of us how to get the defense solid. Put in dobbins on running plays and whilhelm on pass plays for the defense. Move the linebackers around alot more before the snap to confuse o-line blocking. And start using more close press coverage with our d-backs so our pass rush has a second or so more to bother the q-back.

All I can say is thankgod cottrell reads some of our posts.

Now if Norv will quit with the gut runs against a stacked d-line we might be making progress. And do we have a short quick passing game.
