Feel sorry ? Conc, wake the hell up. We don't EVER, NEVER, not one friggin' time do we ever "feel sorry" for a fuggin' Raider. Go wash your hands and sterilize your keyboard.
His posts have gotten progressively dumber since he was stripped of his powers.... Now you see the real Conc and the soft underbelly.... :icon_twisted:
I was praying for the Raiders to draft Russell. He doesn't have the emotional maturity to survive the kind of pummelling he's going to experience. Within 24 months he will be a trembling, wide-eyed, callow shell of a former quarterback jumping out of his skin every time someone approaches him from his blind-side.
It didn't work for you though ..... I do my best work by free-lancing. Being a mod would crimpe my style .....
That kid didnt ask to be a Faider, nor did he pull a sissy act like lil Manning did. But god, he is in for a fraggin pounding, no way that poor O-line can protect him. He may not be healthy past the fourth week. The Oline should buy this kid rolexes instead of him buy them soime... Of course there is indeed part of me that feels like a Roman watching a criminal being thrown to the lions. Only the lions are named Merriman, Phillips, Castillo, and Olshansky! My thumbs are down...
There is no way in hell I start a post by asking if anyone feels sorry for anything which has to do with the Raiders. Have you lost your effing mind? :turdspuke: :icon_wtf: :SDC:
I know your slow so lets break this down for you. He is a sacraficial lamb. He doenst know what he is getting into. he is a babe going into the wolves den. Al Davis knows what he is doing to this kid. The kid cant have any clue. So the issue is before he is even a Raider, do you feel for this kid at all. He is basically a tackling dummy for the NFl. Congrats on being the first pick, sorry you were the first pick sorta deal.
I can't wait for the day that he's pushing daisies. When I visited the HoF in Canton, OH a few years ago, I was in the "bust" room all by myself. Early morning and snowy day, so not many tourists at that time. I looked at EACH and EVERY bust. I wanted to see them, not just for their names, or what I knew of them, but to look them in the eyes. I came to Davis' bronze ..... and I got chills in my bones. My hair stood straight up. No ****. I knew I had seen the Devil. BTW: Sid Gilman looked like anybodies Grandpa. Smile, bow tie. Gentle.
I think his first play when he sees Jamal tossing his center like a rag doll and running at him with the speed of a LB, he will shite himself and asked to be removed from the game. The kid is in for a worl of pain....
Big target, too. Hard to miss. Also hard to figure out how he's going to have enough time for his receivers to get deep enough to throw those 60 yard passes. Henderson won't be able to handle either Castillo or Olshansky and he won't have a prayer against Merriman. Davis had better hope he can throw on the run.
A good 1st day of drafting by the Chargers...The only complaint i have is that we gave up too much to get Eric Weddle but apart from that really good draft so far:yes:
I don't think we gave up too much. Seriously, how many lower round picks do we need (many of whom wouldn't even make the team) when we have a chance to get an IMPACT player? I am STOKED to get Weddle. There are only so many roster spots left. Time now to draft to fill those precious few spots with more talent.
Its late, you'll be thinking strait after you get some sleep. LOL We did overspend on Weddle. If AJ was willing to trade picks why didnt we move up in round 1? I like Weddle enough, but I liked Griffen and Nelson more.
We coulda had Nelson and Griffin too... Coulda shoula... all we can do now is hope and trust in AJ that he got us some ballers. Tanard Jackson is still there but he will go before we are up I reckon.
The L seal of approval equates to the plauers kiss of death on their career. Glad we didnt take him now...
