Sounds like a good bet to me. New England's should be longer.

That's only because a lot of Pats homers are putting money down.

It's the same reason that the Raiders are only 75/1 instead of a more realistic 1000/1.

Smart money is on the Chargers at 7-1.

If I have to spend my money on somebody else, then I'm looking at Seattle at 25-1, or Jacksonville at 12-1. At only 3 1/2 - 1 it's not worth placing any money on New England.

...I wouldn't place money "ON" those classless cheater pukes even if it was a guaranteed win. I put money on the Gnats twice against them, as well as the Bolts, Jags and Indy. I bet both the money line and took the points in each of those games. The Super Bowl was an absolute windfall for me cuz I had the Gnats, the spread and the under :abq2: The best bet I didn't take? I took the Gnats money line early against the Cowboys and almost pulled the trigger on the Bolts in a 2 pick money line over the Colts. Even a $50 bet would have paid over $1,000. I slapped myself silly for wavering at the last second and only taking the Chargers and the points:icon_sad:

I hate betting futures like SB winners because of all the entangibles. Good luck to Lash though.

The last Super Bowl that I bet on was the Rams over the Patriots.

I already bet a guy at work 2 months ago $100 bucks that the Bolts would win it all. I'd like to put some money online at some betting site as well. Although I don't know of any :icon_shrug:

I think I would give 25 to 1 odds to anyone who wants to bet on the Seahawks. I'll even cut out the vig! They just seem like constant division winners with no shot at the whole enchilada.

Edit: I also think the Cowboys' odds would be lower if they were in the AFC. Don't they need to win a playoff game first?

...Absolutely!! In the AFC, the Cowboys would have to get past the Chargers, Colts, Patriots, Jags, Steelers, etc, just to play in the Super Bowl. Not too many scary teams over in wussyland, AKA...the NFC
