Because I want it on my iPod some of the time (for the gym, etc)...I can watch it on the website free with commercials but I don't want to drag my desktop into bed with me :icon_huh: But this week I get a new laptop delivered... Heroes is good...very good...and I liked the 4400 too.

Well I'm here on my new laptop that just arrived today...that's pretty exciting...(to me anyway) :icon_eek: I'm hoping Tony and Michelle come back from the dead like Audrey tonite...you don't know, it could happen. :icon_wink: Getting on the wireless internet with this little notebook required a long security code that I had no idea where or what it was...but I finally figured it out! Bill Gates I am not. :icon_eek: But it's fun to be able to go room to room! Not having a mouse is a little strange...

Anyway I love my new laptop and I'm getting used to the built-in mouse thingy...I'm also glad 24 is being renewed, I like Nadia but think she's "expendable" (meaning soon to be dead :icon_eek: ) wish Chloe would turn cranky again, and like Heroes. I'm also not too sold on "Ricky" and hope he doesn't come back next season... I needed a new mouse for my desktop and went to BB and wondered if I should ask the guy "Where are the mouse(s) or where are the mice?" :icon_huh: Turns out it's mice.....
I am kinda sad 24 is over after Monday...I look forward to it and I like to read the 24 threads on both the forums after each show. Well I'm posting this (on my new notebook) from Washington DC. It's 10:25 here. Last night Allie and I got here...met my UCI kid who's a senate intern...walked to the White House and ate dinner at Old Ebbit Grille where every President since 1850 has eaten. Today we took the Blue-Line Metro (subway) and went to the Lincoln, Washington, Korean and Vietnam memorials (my cousin's name is on the Vietnam Wall) then to the Holocaust Museum (sad) and afterwards to the National Geographic museum. Tommorow we go to Capitol Hill, Supreme Court Building, Library of Congress and maybe the National Cathedral, which I saw once, and is awesome from the inside with it's beautiful stained-glass windows. OK, yes, I DID lose my cell phone on the first plane :icon_eek: but it was recovered before I boarded my connecting flight to DC...Before I left home I put a return address label on the back so the nice people at the airlines hunted me down...the guy said "That label was genius"...I thanked him and replied "I know myself..." :icon_eek: At least it didn't end up in the garbage :icon_huh: ...but I'm not leaving until Sunday... I'm gonna take an after-dinner walk to the White House in a few minutes...I wonder if George is still up... Home Sunday night (late) and looking forward to the 2-hour 24 Finale on Monday night. I saw on a commercial here tonight that Kiefer Sutherland is on the one-hour Simpsons finale... Oh yeah, my Senate intern (who gets to ride in the Senate subway) has seen the President twice, Nancy Pelosi, Senators Kennedy, Obama, Barbara Boxer, Snowe, Feinstein, Graham, Durbin, Leiberman, Kerry and McCain, Hilary twice and yes...The Queen!...:icon_eek: (Maybe I can introduce you Leisure lol) Guess my tuition $$$ is being well spent this semester. I do miss 24 when it's off....I'm glad it's coming back. I hope they dump Silver Spoons.
Thanks Chris It's nice to get away but nice to come home too...I'm supposed to be asleep already to get up "early" but I'm not tired at all...it's 1:10 a.m. here but I feel like it's only 10:10 p.m. lol... I'm still on California time which could present a problem come 7 a.m. here...4 a.m. for me! :icon_eek: I'm a night owl. Going to bed at 4 is ok but not waking up...well I guess that's what Starbucks is for. That little waving smiley is cute...
