Zero points in the last 28:00+ minutes of the football game against the leagues worst defense. 4-12 on third down conversions for the game. Opposing teams are making halftime adjustments that stifle the Chargers offense. And which defense was suppose to be the worse, the Saints or the Chargers? Sure, on paper the Saints defense may appear poor, but the Chargers showed how "well" their defense is against a high powered offense and conversely, the Chargers high power offense showed how well it could perform against an inferior defense. (Total offense: Chargers: 427 Saints 404)
Seems like this is becoming a trend for this season so far. The third quarter in many games this season has certainly not been kind to the Chargers. (And yes, I will reply to myself...)
2 weeks 2 big leads blown. This team is weak, and cant play 60 minutes. Blow the house up and rebuild.
No backbone. Not sure what the deal is. Should be more leadership on D. Rivers is too damn excitable in big games. Dude needs to calm down, if at all possible. Those picks were all on him. Meacham is never going to compete for the ball, of that much I'm sure, but Rivers has gotta stop underthrowing him, especially because he's never going to break up the int.
