I support your opinion. The decision has been made and Philip Rivers has proven himself a supertop athlet. Drew Brees has had his chance
but couldn't hold on. I wish New Orleans well in the playoffs, but it's
a long road to go to the superbowl.

Yeah that's fine. Let's beat the red missourian herd coming down the Santa Caligon trail. No double LL this year.

And they earned every bit of their sucess. They're schedule is just brutal, but the Saints keep winning. Props to them.

I missed nickelbolt's responses (I haven't been around the boards much). I just sprayed coffee all over my desk.

    Nice.

To quote a friend, "it looked like an arcade game out there."

I was teasing that Drew is like that kid in the movie "the rookie", where the kid falls out of a tree and breaks his arm. When he gets his cast off, he realizes he can throw really hard and goes on to pitch in the majors.

Seriously, the guy was not throwing bullets like the one's I saw last night when he was with the bolts. Dr. Andrews better get a big stocking, as Drew owes him big time.

I don't think AJ's very worried about anything right now. He has assembled the best team in the league, and they have just won their 7th straight game.

Yep, there's a history of guys coming back from that surgery with a stronger arm than before. Of course, there's also a history of guys never coming back from it.

AJ is brilliant. How many times must this guy find the next Pro-Bowl talent before someone offers him thier first born, rights to all of thier women, and possibly a 6 pack of guiness?:icon_toast:

How sweet to be in the position to let a Pro-Bowl QB go out on the open market, and have another waiting in the wings.

Think about it. Brees is a stud. Rivers is a stud. Whitehurst is a stud.

This guy is golden. AJ "Midas" Smith.

Arron Brooks, Jay Cutler, Trent Green are our ILB's chew toys, twice a year.

Why do you care? He's not a Charger. If we play them in the Superbowl are you going to be happy for him and hope he plays well? Because I sure as hell won't. I'll be hoping he throws 5 picks, gets pummelled like he never has before, and leaves the field in tears like the losing players in a SB always do. It cracks me up that so many Charger fans love Brees and want to see a Bolts vs. Saints SB. Why? Either we're going to ruin your boy's season or he's going to ruin ours. There won't be any good ending to it if you have this affection for both.

Sorry, but I don't subscribe to the theory that just because a guy wore lightning bolts at one time means I have to cut him slack or root for him. Screw that. Tell me honestly, Conc--do you think Drew would have led us to two straight wins against the Donks? The guy always played HORRIBLE against the Donks.

I said the Chargers made the right decision not to offer him a ton of guaranteed money and you act like I called him "the great moled-retard" or something. But honestly, I don't give two sh!ts about the Saints or Brees any more. I care about the Bolts, and Brees ain't one any more--and that's his choice.

Why do I care? because he played well for us, and yes this year he would have beaten the Donkies twice. The team won those games, not the QB. I do hope he does well, up till he plays us.

He doesn't look too worried in this picture -

Maybe he's thinking about Brees in this picture? -

AJ made his decision, the team is better than they were a year ago and that's that. If you worship Brees, join the Saints bandwagon. If you're a Bolt fan, shut about Brees! You people that still cry over Brees make me sick! Get over it already! Bunch of wussies!

If that is the SuperBowl matchup then it will be awesome:icon_banana:

    Brees VS Rivers
    Mentor VS Student

    Bush VS LT

    The matchups go on
