I'm not the one holding people to a higher standard, L.T. is.

Professional atheletes, in general, are self absorbed clowns with an overinflated sense of self worth. I'm just surprised that L.T. can get so worked up about some petty taunting when he has larger, more egregious issues on his own team.

It makes him look like a poor loser, a cry baby, the Peyton Manning of running backs. Everyone told him he was going to the Superbowl and now he has to watch it on t.v.

I like the rivalry when you get right down to it. It makes it more interesting for the fans if there is a certain amount of annimosity involved.

Has LT been driving while intoxicated? Has LT been cheating?

Perhaps LT looks like a sore loser after his tirade.

But the Patriots looked like sore winners after their showboating.

    Best Damn Sports Show Period:

All of the guys on the show agreed, such as Deion Sanders was saying right after the game, that LT was simply upset and was caught up in emotion. He didn't know how to handle his frustrations. When the question of the Patriots being a classy team came up, they all agreed that they were certainly classy. Keyshawn Johnson also added his two cents in by saying that a mock celebration was just a natural part of the game (it is JUST A GAME after all).

San Diego players were talking trash all week. So some of the Patriots did a dance on the helmet in the middle of the field. Big deal. It is just football.

But LT just got beat. They didn't give it away, because the Pats had a bad game too. The Chargers just plain lost.

I think what Beer guy wants is that Shawne Merriman needs to quit the NFL and go to Jail for the for the rest of his life because of the Steriod thing.

Ah yes! But what you DIDN'T read was where Foley's gunshots were: all of them were FROM behind. None were in the front. Take that fact for what you will. Plain clothes WHITE cop with NO I.D. following a black man into a rich neighborhood. Take that fact whatever way you want to.

All I know is I sure am glad the Patriots fans swing by every once in awhile to teach us about class and morality and stuff like that. For a full week it was nothing but "OMG, San Diego, who's that, you guys are nothing, your fans are stupid, 'roid-boy' this, 'roid boy' that, we are the great New England Patriots (fans) and we don't understand why you won't lick Tom Brady's ballsack like everyone else..."

And then Patriot fan wonders why we don't want to have an "honest" discussion with Patriots fans. Hilarious.

Go troll the Indy board Pats-fan. No one here needs a morality lesson from you.

The reason you state you lost class was because of his reaction after the game .. We gave you the reasons for his "tirade" and you come back with what his response was to performance enhancing drugs, Merriman, and drinking and driving? I'm sure he has opinion but since the question was never asked, then you probably shouldn't assume his position.

I don't care if Merriman pumped steroids his entire life, and then went and took a piss on Bill Belichek after the game was over.

It has nothing to do with LT and his accusations of the Patriots.

I started out nicely and things quickly went down hill on your end.

I made my point and the sand kickers weighed in with useless crap.

I brought the discussion down to their level.

I was on topic until the argument transitioned to the character of Patriots players.

Check out the posts until Thumper came to your rescue with some intelligent information.

Classic response by a poster who has no response for a rebuttle, but wants to come back with something: Go off on a tangent with something that is loosely, at best, related to the subject.

If you think the conversation is slipping out of control, the best response is to ignore it and respond to the serious rebuttles.

Otherwise you just make yourself look just as foolish.

A lot of the posters here are still sore over all of the Patriots trolls that made their way here prior to the game.

Just in the media. Players were also telling Caldwell how bad the Pats were going to get beat.

Then besides trash talking, there was all of this talk of already planning a parade in San Diego and the Pats just being a stepping stone to the AFC championship. That is disrespectful unto itself. You need to respect a team like the Patriots. Here are the Chargers, who haven't done much in many years...disrespecting the Pats, who have won 3 of the past 5 Super Bowls. THAT is disrespectful. Respect needs to be given where it is due.

I respected the Pats and the long-suffering fans that have been with them since forever. Rooted for them in Superbowls. Looked forward to this weeks game as a match between two great teams.

Until a week ago when the boards and media flooded with ignorant cheerleading east-coast biased bigots.

Then the team stomps on our logo before and after the game.

NOW I have zero respect for the Patriots and Boston.

I hope Manning tears you a new one, and I have never rooted for a Manning in my life. I hope the Red Sox never win another championship for as long as you live. And I hope this is the Patriots' last postseason run prior to following the Oakland Raiders into the abyss that is pure and utter suckitude.

The parade planning was a city thing .. out of the Chargers control.

As far as saying beating the Patriots is a stepping stone is not disrespectful. In fact, it is one of the highest forms of respect that you are a good team that has won 3 of the last 5 Superbowls.

Most of the media reports that a lot of us saw were players paying high respect to the Patriots. They knew they were a good team and it was one that we couldn't underestimate. You can believe what you want but honestly most of the players were all class.
