AJ doesn;'t need to say this for us to already know it. He and Norv should have been fired last year

At least AJ left with some class, got to pat him on the back for that.

Norv was pointing fingers like a 10 year old.

In 6 years with the Chargers, Norv never once took accountability for mistakes he made. Like AJ or not, he on several occasions took ownership for poor drafts

Yeah no kiddin, its a shame AJ didn't take the mic and start throwing people under the bus too...because that would have been better than just bowing out quietly and voluntarily giving an interview later where he admits all his mistakes.:coffee:

I liked AJ's stance when it came to the team, no one is bigger than the whole. He just went overboard with it. Like the Stillers, you play for what they will pay. It's not a right to play for them you have to earn it on every single down or it's the dog house and they ain't afraid to put you there.

Too bad AJ didn't hold Clary, Buster, English and many others to that standard, let alone holding himself and Norv to it

I'm damn tired of "Club Diego" by the sea shore where it never rains and there is no such thing as a bad day. Deano needs to move the club facilities back to rough acres with no way out other than the team bus.

Oh crud! Norv and AJ forgot to take Clary and English with them on the way out!

I'm thinking it's much more about a systemic attitude then geographic location.

Yeah, but Boulevard is such a nice place to hold a practice session in the middle of summer...

I would be surprised if both were not cut before March. We're now at a point in Clary's contract where its maybe $20 cheaper to cut him, and I think that money could be better spent buying Ryan Mathews a few gallons of milk.

English, I believe we save about $2M for cutting him.

You know what's interesting. If Dean had fired Norv at end of 2011 season AJ probably would have survived and got the chance to pick his 2nd HC.

Well, I guess we were fortunate that we kept Norv another year, as bad as that sounds

Having a few Lombardi's kind of helps in those negotoations from the Steelers point of view.

Until Chuck Noll went there (former Charger DC) they never had a winning record but he brought a winning attitude and a kick your *** defense in and changed things. To many charger fans don't want a mean defense that aren't afraid to take a shot if it means winning a game. They call it "Cheating", I call it playing smart and taking a penalty in exchange for a win.

Down near Boulevard they practice hard
They look at strife with such disregard
They say it can't be won
                        Unless the ball is run
But if you choose to play
                        You get Dianabol every day!
                        It's okay...
