    Certainly a little interesting that of all the DBs I can think of, this is who they're writing stories about.

    OVERALL FOOTBALL TRAITS
    Production 4 "2008 and 2009: Played at Copiah-Lincoln Community College 2010: (11/0) -- 33-4-0 2011: (13/13) -- 41-11-1"
    Height-Weight-Speed 5 "Undersized in terms of height and bulk for a safety prospect. Has short arms (30) and smaller hands (8 5/8). Top-end speed is well below average and jump tests at combine were underwhelming: 33-inch vertical, 9-8 broad jump. "
    Durability 4 "Underwent Achilles tendon surgery on April 1, 2010, which limited his playing time that season. Also missed two games (Tennessee and LSU) in 2010 due to a groin injury."
    Intangibles 3 Academic issues in high school forced him to attend community college for two years before transferring to Alabama in 2010. There are concerns regarding his mental capacity. Has no off the field issues to our knowledge. Is a hard worker and passionate about the game of football.

    1 = EXCEPTIONAL2 = ABOVE AVERAGE3 = AVERAGE4 = BELOW AVERAGE5 = MARGINAL
    CORNERBACK SPECIFIC TRAITS
    Instincts/Recognition 2 Smaller sample size against FBS competition but playing two full seasons in the SEC helps ease these concerns. Shows good natural instincts and has improved recognition skills throughout two seasons at Alabama. Shows adequate discipline and awareness in zone coverage and does a nice job maintaining inside leverage when aligned in the slot.
    Cover Skills 3 Shows very good natural balance and body control. Displays adequate fluidity in hips and can open to run with receivers down field. Can improve consistency with footwork and leverage in backpedal and can take a few extra steps to gather when transitioning forward. Lacks explosiveness out of cuts and questionable top-end speed to stay with more sudden receivers in man coverage. Also lacks an extra gear to recover once caught out of position. May be best suited for a heavy Cover 2 scheme at next level.
    Ball Skills 3 He shows natural instincts when it comes to playing the body versus playing the ball. Closes quickly on the ball thrown in front of him. Tracks the ball well and can find it over his shoulder. Possesses natural hands and shows good focus to secure INT off of tipped balls.
    Run Support 1 Has good size and strength for the position. Is aggressive and physical in support. Spent a lot of time close to the line of scrimmage as a slot at Alabama and held up well physically. Flies off the edge when turned loose on the blitz and will make plays when pursuing the run from behind. Love his effort and toughness for a CB defending the run.

    It wouldn't surprise me, AJ loves putting slow weak athletes at SS.

    See Steve Gregory, Clinton Hart, Terrance Kiel etc..

    I've never heard of this guy at all, I just thought it was odd that of all the DBs to pick THIS was the guy they wrote about

    He's got long arms, a good frame, looks well proportioned and can charge through opposition, I think he's a late round steal
