It was quite a few years ago. All I can remember is darkness and being scared and in almost disbelief because I had just delivered a baby and felt that I needed to stay here and raise him. I didn't see anyone or anything but a voice told me not to be afraid, that I was (this part is kind of fuzzy)....going back (I think).. or he said I was staying... Anyway, I took from this that I wasn't going to die. I don't know if I flat lined, but I do remember someone saying that I had no blood pressure.... Then someone turned up my IV... and turned my bed so I was in a position to have the blood go to my head and major organs. (trendelenberg) I don't really remember alot after that. This "being" calmed me down and then told me that I should really be laughing at my friends (L&D team) who were frantically trying to recussitate me. He told me it seemed bad but I was really going back so just relax for a while. I actually did start laughing a little... For some reason, at the time, I thought it was funny... :icon_eek: ...cause I knew I was "going back" I never told the L&D team this laughing part or that I remembered any of it.... They would have killed me for sure. Boy that was the talk of the hospital... until my newborn baby arrested. (He was pulled through too) Had to be the worst day of my life. I didn't have an out of body experience, I didn't see any lights, angels, relatives. I felt no pain although I was being poked and proded and "mutilated" in all kinds of ways. After that I could not have any more children. Long story. Who do you want as our #1 pick in the draft?
