Do we need both a good run game and a good pass game? Or would we be better off blowing one up to make the other one elite and putting the rest of our efforts on defence?

If we would simply invest in our linemen we'd have both.

I think we should rely on the run more, As much as I love Rivers he has proved he is not a guy who can carry a team. Once we get down I notice (And this has been going on for his entire career) he seems to go into panic mode and force plays instead of take what is given to him.

The fact with Mathews, despite what some may say (his fumbles and injury), has never really had a bad game. He runs with determination and 9/10 he makes positive yards. The run always opens up the pass which IMO will make Rivers what we all know and love
