Our Bolts beat the tar out of a bad team -- something they should have done last week too. Let's get to it: Balls D. Butler -- Was a one man wrecking crew. This guy gets better every week The Front Seven (inc. Butler) -- Scored two TD on their own (Phillips fumble rec, Williams INT), and shut down the run Birds Gaither -- Two false starts, one hold, one sack allowed. You stood out like a sore thumb, come on Cason -- Why are you giving so much room to Bowe? You are facing Matt Cassel after all Weddle -- No business returning punts, this is the only reason I call this one Would have given a ball to Rivers, but I can't overlook the pick at the end of the first half. Bad decision., otherwise, absolutely flawless. Special Bird to Virginia Tech for their horrid effort against the U...this is for you CoronaDoug. Lines are open.
Balls Defense - They were amazing and almost held KC to no TD's. Rivers - Played like he should. Amazing! Norv - Hate him but he coached smart and ran when we had too and passed when we had too.
Balls The guy with the "I'm Norvous" sign. Birds Philip Rivers - That INT was inexcusably awful. Jammer - Can still tackle, but couldn't cover a paper sack if he were a ham sandwich.
Balls: Rivers- As a couple of you can't overlook the pick. I can't overlook 18-20 90% completion % 2 td's. Ajirotutu- Guy has been here 4 days and made a great catch on the first drive that set the tone for the game. The Front Seven- Other than the one drive that KC had like 3 runs in a row of 10+ yards I think KC was averaging 1.6 YPC. Not to mention 2 td's. Butler- Although part of the front seven. He deserves a special ball for just being flat out disgusting. I love this guy. Birds: Cason- Did this dude go to dinner with Cromartie, and Prime? He is starting to look more and more like a guy who can't cover, and can't tackle. Gaither- Not sure if this dude is still hurting or what. But at times he looks amazing, and other times looks like he should be on the practice squad. Penalties, and just abused by Hali on the sack. Weddle- Seriously. I don't know why he is back on punts. I would put Ingram back there for christ sake before I ran him out there again. I have watched him muff like 5 or so punts in the past 3 weeks or so. Otherwise I love him. Dude is nasty on defense but gets a bird for muffing punts.
Balls - To the real Chargers fans that showed up at the Q today to support their team. Birds - All pundits.
Balls: John Pagano – the defense has been fierce! After giving up only 1 early touchdown in Cleveland, they don’t allow a touchdown tonite until garbage time, while score two of their own. Philip Rivers - stupid interception aside, played a good, smart & efficient game and kept the Chiefs defense on their heels. Jarrett Johnson – Sacked Matt Cassell in the end zone, had Cassell not fumbled for Shaun Phillips’ touchdown, it still would’ve been a safety. Ryan Mathews – our most potent running threat, our leading rusher with a 5.2 yard average and a 31 yard jaunt. Demorrio Williams - 59 yard interception return for a touchdown Birds: Eric Weddle – 3 muffed punts in 2 games. Luckily, we lonely lost 1 of them. Jared Gaither – what’s up with all the penalties?
this, and beating the Bucs won't count either IMO IF we beat Den in Den, THEN the team can have a ball, until then, all my NOPE. You beat the worst team in the league at home. BFD
Balls Donald Butler - Incredible talent, he's everywhere Demorrio Williams - was cheated out of TD vs Saints, not this time Jarrett Johnson - get a sack/strip in endzone, get a game ball Alexander/Ajirotutu - one week in a Charger uniform and they already get open more than Meachem/Royal combined Floyd/Gates - they didn't get many balls but they did a great job The guy with the fire Norv & AJ sign on east endzone - EPIC Ronnie Brown - I'm glad they didn't listen to me when I suggested to cut him Middle Ground Rivers - played an almost perfect game but made one HUGE mistake he never should've Mathews - wasn't used much but when was, did a fantastic job Birds Rich Bisaccia - why the hell are you making Eric Weddle return punts? You don't put your defensive MVP (unless he's just an insanely good returner) out there on one of the most dangerous and difficult plays in the game John Pagano - I'm sorry why were the Chiefs able to convert so many third downs all day long? You're blitzing but you clearly aren't getting to the QB Jared Gaither - I'm realizing he isn't a cure all for the OL, he didn't play well at all
If Tamba Hali wasn't the only person on that front seven still playing with any effort our line would've been crushed.
Yup. After the horribleness against Denver, losing is the best avenue towards improving the roster, seeing as how the NFL rewards its losers annually at the draft, as long as they don't blow all of their picks on sillyness.
Wanting the Chargers to lose is like wanting America to lose. For a better draft position or for a different leader, it's reprehensible.
So if the situation was, "Chargers win a meaningless 16th game, and in spite of that they're still out of the playoffs" or, "I receive a billion dollars, cash, untaxed", I'm supposed to pick the Chargers? What kind of mindless drivel is this? If it's week 17, we're eliminated, and a win gets us nothing, while a loss gets us the number 1 pick in the draft, you're rooting for a win? You should get in touch with a heroin dealer. The long-term consequences suck but I hear the level of instant gratification is incredibly high!
Fortunately, the situation is...it's Week 9! When making into the playoffs is mathematically impossible, feel free to throw in the towel, until then...GO BOLTS!
Dude is as HARDCORE as they come. He sits section in front of us, and I've had the chance to talk to him a few times up in the tunnel between halves. He's an awesome dude. Every single game him and his buddy lead the entire section/west end zone in yelling NONSTOP when we are on D like a BOSS.
Balls - Butler & Liuget. Birds - Cason.. again, seems he has no clue whatsoever, have him return the punts & promote Wright to corner. Weddle, looks v unsure under the high ball, have pr duties removed from him yesterday. Gaither, I'm noy buying this spin bout him giving us all he's got until he is spent. Still thinks he's dum & lazy. Larry English, inactive eh?. Worst 1st round pick ever after the Leaf one. I'm done with this passenger. Apart from firing Norv (&AJ), bench Cason but have him return punts, promote Wright, try Gilchrist on kick returns. Try Harris at RT. Whats with having 5 RBs acftive and Green on sideline?
