Another total prick.. Dave Mustain. It was Megadeth and Warlock at the University of Maryland. A friend of mine was dating Doro Pesh at the time, so he got me some backstage passes. One room was shared between both bands but it was huge. Plenty of room. This girl must have been about 17. She was wearing about $100 worth of Megadeth memorabilia. A baseball cap, jersey, tour jacket... you could tell she just purchased all of that at the show. She shows up with a sharpee and a poster and asks Dave to sign the poster. He rips it out of her hands, crumbles up the poster, scribbles on it, throws the sharpee across the room, and throws the poster in her face. Why would you treat somebody who supports you so strongly that bad?
Not a surprise about Axl. I've seen Guns, twice. Both times they were on time and played a great show! Back in the 80's. I saw Ratt & Lita Ford at the Sports Arena on New Years Eve. As Ratt opens the show, Steven Pearcy manages to fall down a set of stairs. The dude is soooo drunk he can't remember the words. :icon_rofl: I saw Night Ranger at SDSU. Won backstage passes from KGB. Talked with Jack Blades just we were personal friend.
IAD needs to post that clip of his band doing "Western World". If he's already done so here, I've missed it. It's very good.
it's a secret  It's up on myspace vids & doesn't seem to want to display here. But I'll put it up on youtube after work and post a linky.

I'm seeing The Offspring on the 30th. :rockout: I'm buying Green Day tickets and their new CD, tomorrow. That way, I'll know who to vote for in 4 yrs. :icon_tease:
Hmmmmmm. So if the Pubs can put a band together that rocks even better than Green Day and sings all about the Republican agenda... the Republican candidate can count on your vote in 2012? :icon_tease:
Maybe.....When Hell Freezes Over. :icon_rofl: But let them give it a shot! I like new music. :icon_party:
"I'm the best there is, the best there ever was, and the best there'll ever be" Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
Clapton was by far my favorite I saw live. He seemed to realy love to play for the audience. Sometimes the bands at the SD County Fair would be good.
I actually liked Owen more than Brett. I was an Owen Hart fan long before everyone became his fan because of the accident.
I was a much bigger NWA/WCW fan than WWE. I miss the NWA days with Sting, Lex Lugar, Four Horsemen, Road Warriors, Ric Flair, etc. The WCW days with NWO were the ****!!!
I liked NWO early on, but then it got really old. I hate it when a shtick has a group of talented wrestlers who suddenly cant manage to win a match without having people interfere...
Eric Bischoff actually had a great concept in place after the nWo wore out. The problem was that Time Warner wouldn't let him do it. TW eventually wanted to do away with wrestling and they did.
