San Diego Padres Season Stats: 8-4, 3.59 ERA, 106 K's July Stats: 1-1, 7.47 ERA, 18 K's Chris Young is coming off his worst outing of the year, lasting only three innings while allowing seven runs en route to a no decision against the Atlanta Braves. Chris Young's last outing against the Dodgers netted him a no decision while giving up two runs in five innings of work. He is winless against the Dodgers in three starts. Offensively, Derek Lowe has baffled the Padres throughout his career. The Padres look to finally solve a stingy Lowe riding on the hot bat of Adrain Gonzalez. Mike Piazza may play a significant role if he is in the lineup, although it is a small sample size, Piazza is 2-4 with 2 home runs against Lowe. Los Angeles Dodgers Season Stats: 7-7, 4.19 ERA, 68 K's July Stats: 1-3, 8.10 ERA, 11 K's Opposing Young is Derek Lowe. Derek Lowe started the season on a high note but recently has struggled in the month of July, allowing eighteen earned runs in twenty innings of work. Lowe had a tremendous outing against the Padres in April, the only time he had faced them this season. He pitched six shutout innings but came away with a no decision as the Dodgers bullpen managed to cough up a 5-0 lead in a game the Dodgers eventually lost. dr cam-cam gilees belissimo a-go greeney blummer barfy cowbell baby
huh? What a freaky deaky first! Last play first: Piazza grounded out to second.Giles singled to center, Roberts scored, Giles out at second.Cameron grounded out to pitcher, Roberts to third.Roberts to second on balk.Roberts safe at first on 3rd baseman Aybar´s fielding error.
Not to mention the game LOST an umpire in the top 1st. The Homeplate ump excused himself for an injured knee. So now they are down an ump. They played musical chairs and only have a 3-ump crew! Umps are runnin al;l over tryng to keep up with the axetion!

6-6 bottom 10th. 2 outs. 2 on. Saenz up. First pitch groundout! FINALLY! Brocail said something bad into his glove! Dont blame him. The Duds are m-Fers.
2 outs. 0-1 pitch. Barfy does a partial swing. Catcher asks for help.. 1st base ump says he swung. Bochy yells something from the dugout. He gets kicked out of the game. So, he came out and gave the ump a bit of his mind. They keep showing the first base ump. He is literally looking into the Padre dugout for someone to throw out...
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!:icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana: Barfy hits a hustling double- Bard hits a single to score him-although he shoulda slid... The Josh and Josh Show!!! 7-6 Padres, top of 11.

YEAH! It was flippin sa-weet! Halfway up the bleachers! :icon_banana: Woke those peeps up-they are animals out there!
I think the only way those Dodgers are going to beat the Padres, is if they double their Payroll. Its obvious with the players they have, they are not good enough.
I think A Rod will look good wearing a Dodger uniform, 3 Errors a night, 4 Strikeouts a night, yup he would be looking great in a Dodger uni!
Untill he gets his head back on straight, and untill he gets back in any resmblence of any grove, he should be avoided like the plague. The fans in New York are doing more damage to his psych, and with every little turn they drive another nail into his coffin.
i think a change in location would help that out immensely; someplace a little more laid back you can't tell me that you would'nt be exicted to ahve a guy like A-Rod come to the Padres; the attention, the revenue, the excitement, the electricity from that move would be incredible
i went on a party bus to the la-la game. just got back. we sat next rto our bullpen and cheered all the relievers that wernt out to pitch. what a great game. we stareted yelling "Beat LA" late in the game just before the 9th inning rally. it was saweet. if they start ey leading off again im gonna scream. i mean scream. i pass out. goodnighjtnow...
Right now with the way he is playing, no, I would not want him on the team. He would be nothing more than a huge distraction.
Congrats on beating LA. I hate the Boston Red Sux (almost as much as I hate the Denver Broncos). :icon_evil:
