30. San Diego - Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio St. The receivers lack an explosive playmaker, and Ginn would be a great weapon. 2nd Round: Eric Weddle S/CB Utah http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/nflmockdraft.html
That wouls be an amazing first two picks for the Chargers. Do you really think either of these players will be available at the spot this mock has us drafting them? It's possible one slips, but personally I don't think either will be available at those spots.
Eric Weddle is getting lots of interest... No way he's still there at the end of the second round, IMNSHO. I think Ginn might be there at 30
I think your right, that is why I think if AJ can get an extra 2nd Turner will be gone:no: that way he can grab Weddle. Unless AJ takes Weddle at 30. Especially if ANT's source is right About us liking M.Walker and taking him at the end of the 2nd. I would rather keep him (Turner) then get anything less than a 1st..
Just say "NO" to the China Doll ...... 3 plus months, and Ginn still isn't healthy. Crappy route runner. He's a younger Dante Hall. Do you want to see the Chargers spend their #1 on a guy who is just a KR/PR ???
I've seen this mock before. It leaves top notch safety talent on the board. AJ is right about not taking anything less than what he wants for Turner. The Chargers are in a position to pick the best guy available at most positions. I would take a first and a swap of seconds for Turner. Considering what the Chargers alread have, I might consider swapping both thirds for a decent second round choice if the trigger was pulled on a Turner trade. If it was near the top of the second round I might even throw in the extra fifth pick. I could live with who the Chargers could pick up with two firsts and two two's. The Chargers were 14-2 with what they have now and the young guys will be more seasoned this year. Once I got started I might even trade all of what was left after the trades I've mentioned do far for a pick in the top half of the third-provided there was someone I could snooker into it. :icon_shrug:
One for the #1 pick in the 2007 draft, and one for the #1 pick in the 2008 draft. He's just getting his work done early.
hey rock, while you are a regular on our board and we're happy to have you here, you gotta know that when I say something like 'best mock' or 'best news' i'm kinda shooting for the charger majority and not the raider minority. to be honest i didn't even pay any attention to the raider picks now that i do, yeah they kinda suck
We don't know who the next Raiders coach is yet, so at the moment, the projection is only bottom five .....
I said sorry becuse he likes this mock and hes a cool guy and i wasnt trying to be disrespectful secondly evrytime i try and post something the site times out. Im having alot of problems on this site for some reason and its not my computer. evrytime i post i get this message so i have to keep trying to post No shamrock if we CJ and with the raiders defense we wont have a top 10 pick buddy. Yeah it was a good draft for the chargers ant.
Ohh, I thought you were trying to post pad, I was going to say PM BFISA he'll let you know how to do it better :icon_rofl:
We do NOT need another KR/PR. Jesus. Between Sproles, Turner, and my personal favorite Cromartie, we have more than enough explosiveness at that spot. If Ginn was a little more stout like Steve Smith (Panthers) or Bush then yeah he might do something in this league. But he seems like he's gonna get pushed around in the NFL. I give him props for suckin it up and running the 40 on a bum ankle and those times are good considering he's injured but I think we need a WR with some sick hands even at the expense of speed. D-Funk
