I don't think it'll change anything. I doubt that Troutman is ready to come in and play at a superior level to our awful starters, simply by virtue of having been injured for so long. I also don't think that Dombo represents an improvement over either of our tackles.

They want to put Dombo in at Guard where he started at a few years ago.

Please put Dombo in at LG or RG, I don't care which just put him in there. Both our guards suck!

Dombo should be an upgrade over Green if he's healthy. I hear good things about Troutman being a mauler but hard for a rookie lineman coming off an injury to make an impact. Maybe next year.

Troutman was LG in college, was a mauler with good pass protection skills, didn't allow a sack in 32 games (or allowed like 1/2 a sack). I think he could be a future LG but not ready now. Dombo should probably move to LG now and maybe later to RG. Don't think he can be a tackle but he could definitely be an upgrade at guard

How come the UT (I think it is Canepa) is biggin up Vasquez?, if anything I think he is the weaker of our 2 guards. I'd be willing to give Dombo a try at guard but now way ever again at tackle unless it is right tackle in a pinch. Harris needs to be our right tackle or a high draft pick. No idea about Troutman, can't imagine he has much to offer this year.

I guess the Charlie Bryant 'Dielman' trial didn't work out ie. trying to convert a dt into an O lineman.

I think Vasquez is better but when compared to Green that isn't saying much. That's like saying Mike Harris is better than Jeromey Clary, when the bar is set so damn low any improvement is improvement. Troutman I still think they're grooming for LG but this remains a red shirt year unless they have to shove him into the lineup. Dombo should be LG now.

You hear it said in the NFL that some players are elite, dynamic, special, whatever, and that others are "just guys". Our entire offensive line is comprised of "just guys", just like our receiving core, with the potential exception of V Brown, just like our CBs.

I think that our Guards are probably the epitome of being "just a guy". Virtually any NFL caliber player could replace them, but they're starting because we don't have anyone better on the team.

I don't think Vasquez is bad at all.. I think you guys are over doing it. He isn't great but he's solid. Doesn't help that Clary is to the right of him either..

Clary does suck, I'm saying Vasquez having Clary to the right of him doesn't help him look good..

Hmmm, interesting that the Lakers fired their head coach, and the head of the CIA also resigned his position due to a sex scandal. Is this the trio of moves that we were all expecting? What next, Aztec aliens arriving in stone saucers just in time for Christmas? So all of this makes perfect sense to me.
