That's incorrect. You only move down if you make it to the Superbowl, otherwise your draft spot is already set before the playoffs.
That puts a finer point on it that I ever could have. You seem not able to comprehend how you can be right and wrong at the same time. Congrats you were correct. We were over matched against Pitt. No one denies that this team is lacking something at this point to enable them to win a SB. Personally, I would rather be wrong and believe than be right and have no faith. The entire point that I, Conc, and countless others have tried to communicate to you is what it really means to be a fan. It's about believing in your team. Being critical is fine and no one here has any problem calling out those that need calling out, but when it's all you ever do, it calls your loyalty in question. If you don't get that, I give up.

Heartbreaking loss but the magic just wasn't on our side today. Hard fought game, we just didnt have the plays on defense to get the O back on the field. There are plenty of things to be critical about but it is what it is. I am so incredibly proud of this team and their heart - despite overwhelming odds against them they never gave up and came so far. I will be heading down to Chargers Park tonight to welcome the boys home and say thank you. Tomorrow - the hope begins for next year.
Every team needs a little magic - I mean, how often does a punt bounce off of someones helmet like that? Pittsburgh has had some crazy luck this season, and I don't say this to take anything away from them. They are one hell of a football team and they won this game legitimately. But every good team has a touch of magic, we saw it in 2006, hell we saw it last week. The bounce of a ball, an inopportune slip of the feet... little intangibles that if you don't play your best ball can save you or bury you.
But the better teams don't let these magical moments justify their season. If that magical moment goes against them, they overcome it!!! Steeler were prepared for this game and we weren't!!! FACE IT!!!
No it wasn't. It was a poor game. Our D didn't show up and so the Steelers were flattered by the scoreline.
