Getting ready for the 10:45PM start over here in the Alps.

Wife has got the guaco going, I got my Gösser beer in hand, just waiting for the jr. varsity game to finish up first. I really hope Eli makes it so we can bust him up in the SB.

Was a bit worried earlier in the week but I think the Bolts will play loose and play well. I think we put up more than 24 on these guys.

he's not particularly loyal to the NFL period - b/c of the way he and other players have been treated back then and also now -- that's the info i heard anyway :icon_shrug:

Hey Joe, welcome back!!. Sounds like u musta had the trip home of a lifetime!!?. I'm confident about tonight's game too. The players seem real loose and real confident. As long as we dictate somewhat from a physical standpoint then we will win. If we let em beat us up on the O line we're gonna struggle.

    Slainte!!.. :icon_toast:

Wow, I'd love some of that guaco!!.

Never has been. Do some research on the kind of relationship Bradshaw had with that team and the fan base...both when he played and especially once he left the team.

Interesting. I hadn't heard that he took issue with it, but it is understandable. Former players have been treated very poorly by the NFL.

    Thanks for the information!

    GO CHARGERS!! :icon_banana:

I will. I had never considered that Bradshaw wouldn't be "in the tank" for the Steelers. Most former players carry some kind of allegiance to their teams.

    Thanks!

It wasn't the fan's nor his teammates that got to Bradshaw. Chuck Noll was not a friendly man and snubbed TB at the end of his career when TB injured his elbow.

A few year's back TB went to Pittsburgh after getting treated for depression I believe it was. He made amends with the team and the owners for blowing them off because of the way he felt Noll treated him.

There was a NFL special on all of this, but TB was a mess for many year's after his playing day's. :bolt:

i was in the store with the wife an' kid gett'in supplies for the game with my 1 year old on my back and i spied a dude in a steeler shirt look'in at whiskey.
i left the wifey to go up the isle and make sure i told him "it's all about the chargers today buddy". he laughed and said "ah, **** i have about enough of you guys, you're all over the place."
i live in Aptos/Capitola (next to Santa Cruz).
it was funny, and worth the eye roll from the wife.

All is good my Irish friend. Flew back on the wife's birthday with a smile on my face after those two victories. Have a Guinness for me and a little Irish toast for the Bolts.

I'm all geeked up. Can't sit still thinking about this game.

Have a 7PM (PST) flight tonight that I have to be on. Soon as the game ends I have to haul *** to the airport to fly to PHX for work.

Cardinals win, I have to fly there today for work tomorrow AM.

    Keep the karma flowing. :abq2:
