We should have some type of lottery for our draft pick.... Like picking a box on an excel spread sheet and then have Conc pick corresponding numbers to our boxes....

How about, prior to adopting a Charger, every member is allowed to select one Charger to adopt (all players and staff should be done simultaneously). The totals are then tallied.

If 100 members want to adopt LT, LT is assigned a number from 1 to 100. The members will then choose a number from 1 to 100 on a first come first serve basis. The member who matches the correct number will then adopt LT and the rest of the members are free to select another prospective adoption of the remaining players and or staff to be adopted (if there are any left).

That is what we currently do.

Edit: and that is what we will continue to do.

I personally think first come, first served isn't fair unless draft date and time is announced. By the time I found out about the last draft at least half of the players were spoken for.

But there could be a lot of defending going on.

Based on how many were bagging on my adopted charger at the end of the season, I don't think I will have much competition for him.
