    Ok here's my mock:

    1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU (Sure Thing)
    2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (trade w/ the lions) - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
    3. Cleveland Browns - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma

    9. Miami Dolphins - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
    10. Houston Texans - Levi Brown , LT, Penn State
    11. San Francisco 49ers - Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
    12. Buffalo Bills - Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi
    13. St Louis Rams - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
    14. Carolina Panthers - Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
    15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
    16. Green Bay Packers - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
    17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Reggie Nelson, S, Florida (Sure Thing)
    18. Cincinnati Bengals - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
    19. Tennessee Titans - Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio State
    20. New York Giants - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida State

    23. Kansas City Chiefs - Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan
    24. New England Patriots - Michael Griffin, SS, Texas
    25. New York Jets - Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
    26. Philadelphia Eagles - Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
    27. New Orleans Saints - Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
    28. New England Patriots - Jon Beason, LB, Miami
    29. Baltimore Ravens - Justin Blalock, OT, Texas
    30. San Diego Chargers - Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
    31. Chicago Bears - Ben Grubbs, OG, Auburn
    32. Indianapolis Colts - Brandon Meriweather, FS, Miami

edit 4/26/07 7:58pm - I made a few changes to my mock. I now have C. Johnson & G. Adams flipping spots but still going to the same teams due to a draft day trade. I have the Pats now taking Griffin with the 24th and then taking Beason with the 28th. This makes Meachem available to the Chargers at 30 and the Colts now take Meriweather wth the 32nd pick. D Jarrett drops out of the first round.

I am praying that Griffin falls to us. The more I look at the film the more impressed I am. He can be an immediate impact player on special teams and work his way into the starting lineup by midseason.

Ok people. Some of you haven't posted your 3 "sure thing" picks. You're going to miss out on the bonus points if you don't select 3 of your picks as "sure thing" picks.

Besides, there will be less chance of a tie with these bonus points, so do it.

Just so the rules are clear.

Your points are based on the position you predict, and how close you are to that spot, not the team that you predict.

For example if you pick a player to go #2 to team A, but team B trades up to the #2 spot and picks the player you predicted, you still get 5 points (10 if it was your "sure thing") for picking the player in the correct spot. Also if you pick a player to go to team A at the #10 spot for example & that team trades down and picks up that same player at the #16 spot, you wouldn't get any points. For this contest it's scored on the position, not the team.

Once Choakland makes that first pick (Russell) there is going to be an effort to burn up the Detroit telephone line... I see Millen trading down a few spots and giving up the best WR on the board for a boat-load of draft picks.

I'm not specifying teams, because I don't think it matters for the sake of the contest.

You are correct. For this contest you do not need to specify teams. I did in mine so you can get an idea what I was thinking, but it's not required.

No bashing from me. One of the reasons I set up this draft is because there is a very quantifiable score you'll get for your draft based on what actually happens.

BTW- I will score these mock drafts as quickly as I can, but I imagine it will take some time, so please have some patience with me while I score them. I will start when the first round is completed, but to make it fair, I will give all the scores at the same time once I've finished.
