I agree about Morris but Jacory Harris is Randy Shannon's boy. Jacory is too inconsistent and only shows flashes. Randy Shannon can not get his team fired up. After four years of fielding uncompetitive teams, it is time for Shannon to go. The Canes have gone from a team with a 58 game home winning streak to a pathetic crew that cannot win three games in a row. When they win two games in a row, they start talking about "greatness." Now, they will finish another year with no improvement, unranked, and looking forward to another mediocre bowl. Shannon has never won a bowl game. Coker was fired after losing 15 games in six years. Shannon has lost 21 games in less than four years. Clearly the University has lowered the bar on what it considers satisfactory performance. UM president Donna Shalala is not focused on Hurricane football. It is all about money now and that is why we have a low salaried coach. They will not spend the cash to get in any top coaching candidates. This also hurts recruiting so I do not expect anything but a mediocre team until changes are made.
