Philip Rivers, Chargers - The wild card of the marquee second-year QBs. And as far as "5,085" goes, go ahead folks, laugh it up.

But if Brees goes down, Rivers will light it up. And as far as any Marino comparisons, anybody who watched Rivers his senior year at North Carolina State saw Marino-esque production.

And don't let the Bernie Kosar release fool you. It's almost as quick as Marino's. I say give this guy Daunte Culpepper's facemask and let him have a run at the "Marino".

The only problem is, Philip Rivers has two clearly huge things working against any chase at the "Marino" in this, his second season. Number one, that Drew Brees fella. Number two, Marty Schottenheimer has had good offensive teams, but he's not exactly Don Coryell.
