tboltzcali??? For being a dick and rubbing it in to other fans of his supposed favorite baseball team that the Padres are ****** this year.
no shiit! it's hard enough putting up with the poor play of our team let alone the "I told you so" fans out there
Then why are you going into a baseball related thread? Would you appreciate it if baseball-only fans littered the threads in the Chargers discussion forum with "Football Sucks! " posts?
haha I love being right. Padres are ****** and will be ****** for another 2-3 years, if they hold there own players. Pick up some players and make a team KT, SA!!! I hope there poor product kicks bites them in the ***!!
yea, Im sorry for being too right. I should of been a little right. didnt know we had some sensitive feelings in here.
Actually, you were right but you were also wrong. You were right in your observations but were wrong by being a ****** fair weather fan. So by all means enjoy your empty victory.
I'm sensitive because I'm pointing out that you're being a jackass? I'm glad one of us is happy the Padres are losing.
Fair weather fan? Ive followed this team either longer than alot of you or just as long. 1981, fishing with my pops down at shelter island pier. Nothing was on the radio but the baseball game. Ever since then, Ive stuck with this team. From Terry kennedy, juan bonilla, sixto lezcano to gary templeton, steve garvey, craig nettles, kevin McReynolds, Tony Gwynn, Benito Santiago, jack clark, kevin mitchell, chris brown, gary sheffield, blah, blah blah blah blah.......I can keep going. Ive been through this many times.
I guess that makes it ok to demand an apology and brownie points from those that thought the team was going to do a bit better than you did at the beginning of the season. :icon_shrug: I've been following the team for a long time as well. Not as long as you, mind you, but I'm a bit hampered by age to have followed them that long. Larry Bowa was the manager when I started wearing my brown and orange Padres cap everywhere.
I have to say that these apology demanding threads fall along the lines of smalk talk rather than regular chatting about sports.
1981???:lol::lol: I don't go back to the Ted Williams days but I do remember C. Arnholt Smith, and Westgate Park :icon_toast::icon_toast:
I remember C.Arnholt Smith! :icon_eek: I never saw Ted play but I was at the opening of Ted Williams Parkway. I have video of Ted,Tony Gwynn and Bobby Doer together.
