    OTHER COMMENTS: I have been a Charger fan I seen Gary Anderson fly over the Dolphins to score a TD (Any one remember that? Opening day about 1988-89) Its hard to follow the Chargers from this far away, all I get to see are the highlites on Sportscenter. Very excited about this year but I must admit I dont that much about Rivers. I know we have the best RB (LT will go on to be the best ever) and TE in football, along with a superstar LB and an outstand Defence. I can still remember all the bad years so looking forward to many good ones.

I lived in San Diego until 1988 and never let my passion for the Chargers and Padres die. I must admit I am a Cowboys fan as well, just because they are within driving distance and I can make a game or 2 every season. Don't hold that against me. I love LSU football as well.

    OTHER COMMENTS: I attended the first game at Balboa Stadium in 1961. (got two free tickets from o-line coach Joe Madros). Held season tickets for 20 years until being transferred to the S.F. Bay area. My wife (RIP) gave me my first pair of season ticketsfor Christmas on 1963. She peddled one of those weekly free area advertising rags with her two little kids in tow and pilling a red wagon full of paper to make the money for them. What a great gal!!

    I hate the sig, restriction we have at the Chargers.com forum. I drive people (and myself) nuts enforcing it and I have a lot of doubt about the need for it. :fan:
