if he couldn't watch the Spurs play and post at the same time he would be about 15,000 posts lighter.
Oh, sdc. There is not one person I really dont like in here except for maybe poof/mtn.dew. He is the only person I have on ignore. Besides him, I like all you guys. I took what was being said in here with a grain of salt because we had to watch our beloved team go down in flames. I just left and stepped away until the negative stuff calmed down. And everyone did. Alot of this season has been frustrating. We are all feeling it and deal with it in our own way.
Thanks for that. I love this forum, but when the team does poorly, everyone feels it, some post about it, and some repress it like me. I dislike being in here when there is a meltdown. I dont like the negativity.
I think the negative outlet that this forum at times provides is ok. It is interesting to see the diversity in how us Bolt fans react to adversity in the moment. As much as the losses kill me inside, I find that my out bursts at home are more moderate when I’m watching the game and chatting on the forum at the same time (better for my kids). I don’t get offended when someone “quits” on the Chargers during the game, and then two hours later they are once again bleeding blue and gold with the rest of us. It is all part of “the process”. I will admit that when a poster criticizes someone for voicing their pain (even when it is an obtuse comment) it turns me off. My emotions during a game can make me HATE someone, then quickly LOVE that same player within minutes. It is all part of the ride. I like that this forum allows us to take that ride together (even from our own living rooms).
Exactly. But I have to leave the thread when it just ends up being one big "calling each other names" Fest. But, I came back after everyone settled down. I wish there was a "bumming" mood.:icon_sad:
DOOD!:icon_evil: Dont tell me that you are the only one who knows that I would lose on the game show 'Are you smarter than a fifth grader' if there was spelling involved. Hell I am the only one older than six who thought Dan Quail has spelt Potato correctly! :icon_eek:
Yeah, because Raider fans are the ONLY people allowed to brag about titles. The only people who cry about the "how many titles do you have?" argument are fans of teams without them. Tell me you wouldn't, just once, rub a Chargers SB in other people's face if we got one and I'll show you a liar.
