Injuries have killed us. And no one is ever perfect in this business. Player evaluation isn’t an exact science. We need to improve across the board and I’m going to make sure we do. “We all have our quirks and faults, but I want A.J. and Norv on my side. I am not happy about Norv coming back, but I guess I have to get back on board and hope these two can get it done. The worst part about it will be listening to the endless pissing and moaning from fans for another off season. I am fine with A.J. coming back, I don't hate him as much as a lot of people do.
I've now got $1,600 more to play with, I am sure I can find something better to spend it on......like burning it in my family's fire place

Sad. The Spanos are perfectly ok with finishing 8-8. Hard to cheer for a team that doesn't give a fuk about winning. AJ had to go, this was bad.

Spanos is weak, in fact probably weaker than Norv. How he can accept mediocrity and no playoffs in back to back years just shows the lack of ambition that will ensure this team goes ring-less for many, many years to come. This sucks...

I tend to agree. I wanted Norv gone, but nothing we can do about it. Gotta support the team, they obviously wanted to keep Norv.
Seriously though, there's no big name candidates out there right now that would please any Charger fan. So considering Rivers crappy play early in the season and the injuries up front and their somewhat strong finish, I'm will to give them one more chance. But I don't blame fans for being upset. Just decompress, wait for the offseason moves and you'll feel better.
You've got to be kidding me. I hope the stadiums empty this year. I feel bad for saying that because of the players, but c'mon. I swear Spanos is trying to drive down ticket sales so he can sell/move our team. This guy is an idiot. He has total disregard for the fans and the city. Another year of missed playoffs. I'm sick.
I'll remain a fan throughout, no matter how painful the team makes it. But I can find better expenditures for $1600 then season tickets. If the team wants to promote and push mediocrity and teh continuation of the same problems we've had three plus years now, I see no reason to support the team to such a degree
