This is an overall ranking taking into consideration our o-line and d-line. They have us as the best in the league.

As we all know our o-line needs to work better together. And now with newbury as our probable starting center he's got to get his sheet together but fast to be able to work with the rest of the o-line guys.

The d-line and linebacker the chargers have should be a good group. But Cottrell has to use them better. Just don't leave them sitting ducks like he did last year lining them up in set formations so opposing o-lines could set up a o-line protection scheme each play.

I thought Cottrell started to do better the second half of the season. If Williams gets healthy I think we will see one of the best Charger defenses ever.

We're loaded everybody and I think our defense is going to be pretty nasty.

Upon reading that I couldn't hope but help the Burner doesn't get beat-up too bad in Atlanta. :bolt:

The Chargers didn't really get together on either side of the ball with coaches until the second half of the season. This year, they should be starting out in step.

Exciting times on either side of the ball and can,t wait to see this unit in action.

I don't recall the Chargers ever having this much talent on both sides of the ball. I agree they should be starting out in step.

Man, we are ALL going to be a disappointed bunch if they don't take it all this year.

We certainly have the talent in all positions, as WBF said. We have very good starting talent & good backups. Imagine - WR & DB no longer an issue in San Diego. Coverage sacks! Interceptions! Long completions! Big YAC #s!

We have to stay healthy. That's the key this year. We need Hardwick back ASAP (although a healthy Newberry can handle it for awhile) & Gates at 100% for the end of the year push, if not sooner. Everybody knows each others' style of play & is familiar with the staff.

We should hit the ground running. :bolt:
