Jeromey Clary's parents said the Chargers never interviewed him, and never - not even the day of the draft - talked to him until they had selected him. The first few rounds will always be interviewed by the teams that take them, but for the later rounds, trying to match up interviews with a team's real interest is like throwing darts in the dark.
am excited for ya, but they musta been busy, cuz they also interviewed: Chris Ellis, Shawn Crable, Thomas Decoud, and Eddie Royal on Monday... so says "Bubba" on Chargers... Harrison I can understand - he's a load in the middle and likely a 3-4th rdr...
We already have a small RB. I refuse to believe they are too serious about him. He isnt going to carry a load in the NFL if he has to.
Does anyone know of any stud NTs comming out. We need a full fledged NT, Jamal was down a lot. Though McKinny and Bingham played well when in on the line this season...
It doesnt really mater who they talk to. They never pick the guy that they say we talk to anyways. You never heard a peep about them talking to Buster Davis. Never heard much about Merriman or Castillo or Vince Jackson. We brought in Gallery and Sean Taylor and drafted Rivers. AJ is'nt going to let anything be known about which way he is leaning and i heard several times on NFL Radio, Adam Shein said he was TOLD that we were very interested in WR Steve Smith and he would most likely be our first pick if he were n the board and we passed him up to draft Davis......who we didnt hear a thing about. So, all the hoopla on who we talk to is meaningless.
Yes, after they drafted them. Davis was kind of a blindside because none of us had any idea they were interested in him prior to the draft. We were all shocked that Nix said they thought he was the best WR in the draft.
