compared to most of whats out there. Who did you have in mind? and please don't say T.O. I think Plax would have been a welcomed addition, he's a big target who gets open in the end zone. sign him for 1 year would have been good IMO.
I actually wouldn't hate a Plax signing, but that's really completely beyond my point (made through sarcasm) The players available via free agency right now are available for a reason (including Plax). There are no world beaters available for signing mid-season, so it always baffles me when a team makes a minor move like this to take a gamble in an area that's hurting from the scraps that are available, or to simply fill a roster spot that opened from injury, that some fans rush to complain about how the signing isn't going to fix any problems, or how they're ignoring bigger holes. Denario Alexander comes with questions. If he didn't he wouldn't have been available for anybody to sign in October. But....Plaxico Burress comes with questions as well. If he didn't he'd be on a roster right now. And, to respond to some of the other complainers, any offensive lineman they could sign right now would also be some questionable scrub who either has a serious injury history and/or was cut by some other team due to sucking.
The only way to get a decent player now is to trade with a team that's already out of the running....... like when we traded for Keenan McCardell.
Alexander looks like a very solid pickup...... too bad, he's got that Rivers guy throwing him the ball.
Only negative is his lack of speed but Alexander already has been playing better than Meachem has or probably could
The line sucks, but that pick six today had nothing to do with the line...Rivers didn't need to leave the pocket when he did. He sucks outside the pocket...feet of stone!
