I would like to see what would happen if we can pull of some trades and get some real players in here to make a run at the dbacks. I guess KT and JM are scared to improve this team from the outside. Our farm isnt going to win us rings. Atleast not right now.

Justin Huber was DFA to make way for Headley. They retained PMac. Even though I have met PMac several times, and he's a nice guy, I thought Huber had more upside than PMac.

What does PMac do to thank them for retaining him today? Went 0 for 4 with 3 K's.

I will be very glad when NY is in their rear-view mirror...

    Trivia question of the day:

Who are the Padres top 3 offensive players in OPS (OBP+SLG) with at least 100 ABs for the 2008 season?

    1. Adrian Gonzalez
    2. Brian Giles
    3. Paul McAnulty

You're right. KT and JM want this team to lose.

Only in the world of baseball do you find people insinuating that business owners want their business to fail.

    You're right.

I read through the post quickly and jumped to the incorrect conclusion.

    My bad.

I would read my posts slowly as they contain hidden messages.

The one he hit last night was awesome. 406 FEET to dead center! One of the bullpen dudes went to retrieve it. He has a quick bat and a sweet swing. Headley is the real deal.
