Watching FSN... Keith Bulluck is on with the guys now... they're asking him what he thinks of Philip Rivers. His response: "I think LT makes a lot of great plays for them. I think Philip Rivers showed a lot of courage in coming back against us, but we feel we can rattle him and we have to put him in the position of having the game on his shoulders and force him to make plays" Note to Keith: I think you're a great player. But dude... did you not watch the film of that game and notice what Rivers did in the last 7 minutes to beat you guys? He made all the plays necessary to beat your defense. The game was in the balance and there was so much pressure on him to win it... AND HE DID!!! They have zero respect for Rivers. I hope this kid just makes them pay early on. If he can start off hot, they will have no hope at all in the second half.
With the current weather predictions for San Diego, not so sure that the passing game is gonna be as big in this one. Still, you're right about PR & the guts that he showed in the comeback against TN. It all started when our OL decided to stop getting pushed around & gave him time. PR has struggled this year, no doubt, but he's a winner & I've got plenty of confidence in him. Give him some protection & he'll come through.
 Fast forward...still think Rivers can't take a game on his shoulders?? I'd say he did today, without his "security blanket". Props to you PR :icon_toast:
I love that this thread is back. I hope the Titans get a good long cry in and get it out of their system, because they looked and sounded nothing like a bunch of b*tches for the last week. I am just glad we able to slap their sorry *** out of clouds, and back to where they belong... BACK ON THE COUCH!!!!!! HA! Mofo's need learn where the endzone is. Indie your next.
