As old as the person who started this thread, why? Can't take a little ribbing? After all, that's what I thought we were doing here. It's all in good fun, right? Or do you want me to stop?

Oh I remember very well!!!! But I wonder whats worse. Going 2-14 and knowing we weren't going to the playoffs, or going 14-2, #1 seed overall, homefield advantage, getting a weeks rest, facing a team that was not even fit to carry your gym bag, and STILL losing. Hmmmm. Just wondering?

Nah. I was just curious if you were older than 29.

Because if you're not my next question was going to be "What do you really know about rooting for a Superbowl winning team, anyways?"

Followed by the statement "You don't know what it's like to root for a Superbowl winner anymore than I do. And the only time you've seen your team in the Superbowl they got humuliated just as much as my team did" (or you were too young to remember them winning it if you were to tell me you're older than 23, but younger than ~29)

If you're up there in age...then none of that smak applies to you.

At least carrying a 14-2 team into the next season gives us good hope that they'll have a chance to win next year.

The Raiders? Nobody wants to coach there.

True. But the Raiders played a wild card round prior to that snow job game.

They got eliminated in the same round of the playoffs...they made it just as far as the Chargers did this year.

Leo! Leo! Who are you kidding!!!! Your oc is going to coach the Dolphins next year, and your DC MIGHT be leaving as well. Who is left to do the play calling? MARTY SCHOTTENHEIMER!! Is that what you really want?

Are you implying they won't hire replacements?

Damn Leo, do I have to break everything down for you? I'll type real slow. My point was that the Raiders weren't 1 and done..........they were 2 and done that year.

    I get what you're saying.

I was saying that the Chargers weren't required to play that extra game and that the Raiders made it the same distance into the playoffs as the Chargers did this year.

Do you honestly believe the Chargers would've lost to the Jets or the Chiefs?

Fair enough Leo. Lets just say I'm old enough to remember seeing the Raider win their second and third SB. Not the first. And I definitely remember seeing them get their butts whipped in 2002!!!

    Lofton? Chuds?

Who knows, but you're the one that said Marty would be calling the plays.

    Awesome, then.

Nothing bugs me more than a Raider fan who's too young to even remember the Raiders last Superbowl win (or wasn't even alive then) who pulls the Lombardi count smak.

No they wouldn't have, but then again, nobody thought that they would loose to the Pats.

Were you watching the same sports shows I was watching?

There were plenty of sports pundits who thought the Chargers would lose.

Let me be clear on something Leo, I never take all this smak stuff seriously. I just really get a kick out of jabbing back and forth with charger fans here. Sometimes I get a temporary ban and then I'm back. I don't take offense to any of the negative stuff here about the Raiders. Actually, some of it is real funny!!

To be honest with you, I thought it would be a toss up. You guys were the best team out on the field this season, but I just couldn't count out the Pats. Those f*ckers always find a way to win.

Neither do I, smak talking is half the fun of being a Sports fan.

Neither of us are ever going to seriously change the other person's opinion on which team to root for (and our minds shouldn't be able to be changed, or we wouldn't be real fans...)

It's just fun to tell the other person their team sucks. :D

It didn't help that the Chargers were trying to find ways to lose.

Well then, its settled. We agree to disagree. I got to sign off now. Horny wife to tend to!!!! You know how that goes. Nice chat. I don't think I've never had a calm non insulting chat with a charger fan here!

Yeah, 2-14, that means that your team needs to go back to playing college teams.

I think that its halarious to see a fan that likes a team that produces failure, game after game and then sides with a team that is just as classless as the original team that he likes. I know that it is tough raider fans with the 2-14 record, but to change teams so that you can taste the smallest bit of victoty is pretty low, but unfortunatly in the end its just another hard loss. See ya next season unfortunatly.:helm1:

Team that produces failure. That's something you now very well, I'm sure seeing who you root for!! I didn't change teams anymore then you did when the Raiders played the bucs in our last SuperBowl.

My nephew's junior high school team could probably beat the Raiders.

Yep, and you'd take him on your team in a heartbeat.

Hell, you'd take our ENTIRE OFFENSE since Dohkland never had one this season.
