I really don't mind the RB pick. We need Aflack for Matthews.

Matilack, Ziemba's fallen because he false starts on half the snaps he's lined up for. If he was AJ's idea of improving our OL in this draft, that would officially be the cherry on the cake to AJ just pissing on our heads as though to say, "I can do what I want and still not get fired. Hate on me now!"

Stephen Schilling... not a bad pick to be honest. And someone in the front office developed an even bigger Big 10 man crush than ever before this year.

I miss drafting from the Big XII (which is soon to become the Big 10 and the Big Ten to become the new Big 12... did someone in the FO get their wires cross and this is the reason why things have gone awry?)

Beef! Where's Trumpy when the good news arrives? He is listed as an OG, is that info correct?

Look on the bright side, at least AJ didn't move up to get this guy...

Looks like this guy is calling the shots.

Mike Biehl - Assistant Director of College Scouting
Mike Biehl was promoted to assistant director of college scouting in April 2008 after serving as a college scout from ’01. He scouts the Midwest region of the country and handles other key player assignments. Biehl spent the 1998-00 seasons working in the personnel department for the Buffalo Bills.

Biehl was born in Champaign, Illinois. He attended Paxton (Ill.) HS, where he played baseball and basketball, and he graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s in sports management.

Mike and wife, Kim, have a son, Nathan, and a daughter, Kendall, and they make their home in Tolono, Illinois.

Jesus! About time for more beef. I like Schilling. Could we have just traded our 2nd round picks for half the 6th round? AJ seems to be much more effective in this round historically.

I actually think Schilling could play RT - he's done it in the past and I think the position is more conducive to his build. Now as to whether the coaching staff will ever give him the reps there is anyone's guess. I don't have much faith in Norv and Hal Hunter when it comes to this kind of stuff - and I'm anticipating seeing Schilling probably getting used exclusively as Vasquez's backup (which is a pretty bad fit for him, but at least not as bad as Green was) if/when we ever have a preseason.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Schilling gets tackle reps... have to remember that Dombrowski came to us as an offensive guard too.

I do like this pick the more I see. The run at 2:50 was so frickin hillarious. Ran under/through his defender, who also was spun around on the play to come back to the blocker and hold him up and he jus goes his same route RIGHT through them both. That was pretty EPIC. Also I been saying my Goodbyes to DS since before LT opted out.

I see scouting reports comparing Todman to anything from a potential Brian Westbrook to a poor man's Ray Rice. I just kind wish we'd gotten our steal of the draft at a position that we didn't draft in the 1st round last year.

Anybody notice how the Packers were on the clock almost until the clock had expired before they picked Lawrence Guy?

He's a player that fits our scheme, I wonder if we were talking trade with them.

Biography: "Two-year starter who finished with 84/8.5/1, as well as intercepting two passes and breaking up five more as a senior. Junior totals included 80/3.5/3."

Positives: "Quick, athletic linebacker who makes plays sideline to sideline. Gets depth on pass drops, is effective in space, and displays terrific ball skills. Fast out to the flanks, quickly closes to the action, and shows ability in pursuit. Plays with explosiveness. Fluid moving in all directions of the field. Breaks down well, quickly changes direction, and can immediately alter his angle of attack."

Negatives: Easily taken from the action by tight ends. Needs to run around blocks rather than meeting them head-on at times.

Analysis: Gachkar is one of the most underrated linebacker prospects in the draft. He has all the skills to be a weak side defender at the next level and possesses the tools to produce on special teams.

Another ST player. There is no reason why we shouldn't have the best ST this season.
