K but you better learn to get your emotions under control. This thread is a prime example of your oversensitivity. You're going to need some thicker skin. You can't call for someone to be banned from the forum just because you don't like their posting style. You can't stop somebody from stating their opinion just because you disagree with them. It's not always easy to be fair but that's what being a mod is all about!!! So you would be honored but what would you bring to BoltTalk (besides your time)?

Also, don't think for one minute just because you've met me in person a handful of times or you've read some messages on an internet message board that you "know" me. To think you do is both foolish and naive. You're real quick to label people you don't get along with/disagree with on the forum, but if anyone labels you for one second you fly off the handle into an incoherent mess of rambling and overpunctuation. You want me to respect your opinion, but yet all you do is try to talk down to me as if your ideas and posts are somehow more thought out or less emotionally driven and are better than everyone elses. Guess what dude? You need to learn to practice what you preach. Maybe it's YOU that needs to calm down, put down the booze, and step away from the computer? First off... none of this is lecture. It's just pointing out some of the many responsibilities of being a mod. Second... I don't claim to know you personally. I just know how you post in this forum. You tend to get oversensitive, get into emotional break downs, and respond in knee jerk reactions. This thread is a prime example!!! :yes: Third... some people respect my opinion and some don't. That's just life. I don't like everybody I've met and I know that not everybody liked me. So what? Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Fourth... I DO practice what I preach. Mistakes will happen but it's more about intention. Fifth... Am I better than anyone in here (or are you)? I say "it depends." Some people are just flat out a**holes. As long as you're not one of them, then the answer would be "no." BOTTOM LINE... being a mod is NOT about feeling important. It's about accepting responsibility... BIG RESPONSIBILITY!!!

I guess I should just stop trying to explain these things to you, as you seem to lack the necessary intelligence to process what's being said. I try using small words so that you don't get confused, but even then you don't seem able to understand.
Face facts... You need to work on your analogies and comparisons. Chuck F said something about "ignore list being for sissies." So you got upset and blasted out "anyone who uses spam blockers must be a sissy too." I say "bad comparison" and I would bet that the majority of people would agree. BTW... He most certainly has that right. He most certainly does not have any rights granted to him to do so at http://www.bolttalk.net/forums however. The constitution and this country guarantees freedom of speech. It doesn't not guarantee freedom to speak what you like wherever you like. That being said, it would be kind of a dick move to ban him for having a differing opinion and being annoying with it. I'm just saying he doesn't have any inherent rights to express that opinion here. (sorry for the thread bump. Was linked here via a sig and saw a pet peeve....claiming "freedom of speech" on an internet message board.)
