Did Manning just lose the MVP to AP too?

Pick on his side of the field loses the game for them. Does AP get the nod now?

Probably, but he will be the comeback player.

I doubt it. The Mediots are still in love with Manning. They will probably explain how the loss was not his fault.

If there is a God. However, if Brady or Rodgers go HAM on the Texans or Niners D's, respectively, it's entirely possible that one of them gets the nod.

Sadly, the league doesn't want a RB winning MVP anymore. It wants it's MVP connected with putting up gobs of TD's and huge scores. Likely why we'll never see a defensive player win the honor under the current format.

Peterson and, I would contend, JJ Watt have more legitimate cases than any QB this season. But neither is as marketable on the global level as a QB is.

If it were my vote I would have to pick AP. He is the only reason the Vikes got to the playoffs. Watt had the best season of a defensive player but the Texans probably would have made the playoffs without him.

I would have to say it is a tie for comeback player of the year. Peyton/AP. Leaning more toward Peyton since AP would be MVP.

2k rushing yards 6 months after tearing an ACL. Comeback player of the year and MVP. Give Manning offensive player of the year.

    AP deserves all 3.

I'm pretty sure AP was going to get MVP before today, and after today.
