How is that made up? Yes, perhaps they go 14-2 but it's unlikely.

    Two things are certain.

    A) We'll start slow 2011 wasn't starting fast we faced they worst teams ever and barely won at it.

    B) We'll lose to every elite team except for one late in the season to lift our hopes up.

Matilack, what makes you think anyone on here beleives anything you have to say Charger Team or fan related?? I would say you too are and embarassment to Charger fans, but from my experience Charger fans are pretty stupid or not REAL football fans just fans of what others around them are doin. Lemmings!

I was gonna say this sooner Lancer, but you were on a roll. BUT yea your arguing with a wall. It doesnt work, trust me I have been there.

You all are coming off as arogant and stupid fools. How many teams of the other 31 have been in the playoffs every year.... scatch that even every other year for the last 20 years?? In case you havent noticed there are a hell of alot worse off teams than just the teams that finished 8-8 this year.

AND yes Johny, it takes 6-10 or worse season(s) to deserve to consider your team one of the worst in the leauge. Even then you can claw out of the basement of your division once in a while and be considered NOT a ****** team... then turn around and go right back to the cellar the next year with a 2-14 record.

We havent even gotten close to the surface of the BAD TEAM title. So why all of a sudden are we the WORST team in the NFL?? AND stfu some team fans are laughing at the organization. THE coaches and players of the leauge arent.

OK Jerry Rice probably is, but hes not playing hes commentating.

Do you ever post anything positive? At first I was wondering it and tempted to make the comment out of sarcasm, but thinking back I'm not sure I've ever seen you make a single positive comment in my entire time on this forum. Everything's gloom and doom, we suck, they suck, he sucks, we're ****ed, along with an endless stream of profanities.

If you're going to pronounce certainties, you'd best be prepared to provide hard evidence to back it up. You don't really have that - I'm sure you'll twist what the facts actually show and equivocate till you're blue in the face to make sure they fit the argument you're trying to make (assuming you actually put that much effort into a post).

Your post above reeks of hyperbole, something that's a very obvious trend from you from what I've seen. "The worst teams ever," really? Because the guy who just finished with the league lead in sacks (half a sack off the league single season record) and one of the top 3 RB's in the league (whose also a once in a generation type of player) obviously add up to making a team one of the worst ever. Because one of the worst teams ever finishes with a 7-9 record while still banged up with injuries to their starting QB (even if he's average at best), RB who was coming off leading the league in yards from scrimmage, and once in a generation safety. The two teams with the worst records among those we beat prior to the bye were the ones we beat by double-digits. And one of those "worst teams ever" that we beat ended up winning our damn division.

Your arguments would benefit from a little perspective.

Go ahead and gather your info. You'll find out that Norv led teams all do the same things. Start slow and **** the bed when the game is on the line.

What does it say that the Chargers often suffered the same fate under Marty?

    2002, 5-1 start.
    2003, 1-5 start.
    2004, 3-3 start.
    2005, 3-3 start.
    2006, 4-2 start.

4 seasons out of 6 slow starts. Slow starts are not only Norv's venue.

You make it seem the same. Marty led some sorry bunches while Norv leads a team full of talent. He's a joke and stop defending a loser.

It says Marty got fired after 5 seasons....

Not to mention he took over a 5-11 team and turned them into contenders, and Norv is heading exactly in the opposite direction.

Marty got fired for his political moves not his coaching.

If you expect every season to have more wins than the one before, then Lance19 is correct about you.

If you see that in what I wrote, I cant help you.

Nor am I defending Norv. I am not overly thrilled he is back. But I am not going to whine about it constantly.

You are in typical form tonight Conc. Please quote for me where I said that was my rediculous expectation.

I've said it 100 times over the last few years but i'll say it again so those with their heads buried in deeeeep their *** can comprehend..........ALL WE WANTED IS FOR NORV NOT TO DRIVE THE FERRARI INTO THE LAKE........guess what Conc, we're headed right for that lake.

Given our talent, and in our horrendous division, IMHO we should be winning 10-12 games every year. And I don't think its unreasonable to expect a playoff win every once in a while. And given its been 8 years since our turnaround back in 2004 a Super Bowl appearance would be much appreciated.
