    Why is Norv such a sensitive subject in here?
    Seems any thread(s) that are critical about his coaching gets moved to "Smack Talk." Why is that?

    Lets see if I follow your logic...

    Bolts4life is banned for talking about Norv.... Wait that didnt happen....

    Threads are moved because they are attacking people here. That is why Bolt4Life's threads typically get moved. What ecxactly has porevented you scar, from bashing Norv? Please be detailed in your responce so we can determine the exact nature of your complaint.

    I've had this avatar on for about three weeks now.

    Anyone who thinks there's some conspiracy by the mods and admin trying to silence anti-Norv talk here is.....well, I'll be nice and just say you're blind.

    I didn't say anybody got banned or is not allowed to talk about Norv. The question was about any mention of norv being move to Smack Talk. Now if one poster attacks another poster, then it should be moved but isn't that what the Flame Wars thread is for?

    If people are criticizing Norv's coaching without it becoming personal attacks, why should it be moved to Smack Talk?
    I don't think anybody is exactly praising Norv right now.

    They dont get moved.

    Your threads attacking those who hate Norv less than you, get moved. Your threads talking about your angst about Norv are not moved.

    If that does not work for either you or Scar, then this will be the answer. "Threads are moved at the discretion of the moderators and admins."

    If you can criticize Norv without attacking other posters for disagreeing then your post wont be moved to Smack Talk.

    Pretty simple. Look at the posts and threads which are moved, what's the common denominator? It's not criticizing Norv, there are plenty of Anti-Norv posters, posts and threads which receive no action from the mods. If you can't play nice and use your words instead of hurling insults your posts will be moved. Deal with it.

    I don't care anymore. The Donkeys have the division. Clearly something beyond our control wants them to win it because everything is going their way, and I mean everything.

    Besides, with Norv, we might not win it even if Denver was playing as bad as everyone expected.

    any explanation within the "clearly" set guidelines that have been provided in this thread.

    Ray seems to have no problem with expressin my feelings about norv so with that said my thread was moved for NO REASON at all by the letter of the rule as outlined in this thread by Concudan and yourself..

    I have no problem 99.9% of the time Im here but this is two times I've had a thread moved to the smack talk section for the WRONG reasons...

    The bottom Line Scar. The right or wrong reason is for the moderators and admins of Bolttalk to determine. If you wish to discuss the issues, I would suggest a different approach.

    Mods moving threads to the smack forum.

    The world is coming to an end.

    Really, what difference does it make? Who cares if it was moved for the "wrong" reasons?

    It's their forum they can do with it as they please.

    I can understand beef if they locked it or deleted it, but they just moved it to another forum. Big deal.

    Simba, it looks like your thread was moved because there were already several very similar polls that had been moved to Smack Talk and equal treatment suggested that an almost identical thread ought also to have been moved.

    Unless your poll was a serious attempt to determine whether or not using Monkey's with Typewriters would be a better option than Norv at HC I don't see why moving it to the smack talk section is a problem. If anything, moving it there allows you and anyone who wishes to discuss the topic more freedom to speak their mind.

    Deleting your thread or dolling out punishment b/c you created it would be unfair or "wrong" - moving it to a more appropriate location is not. In the future, if you're upset with how a post has been handled by a mod I'd suggest asking any one of us the question rather than calling us all out in the public forum like we're a bunch of jerks out to get you. If we were all corrupt and criticizing Norv were a crime I would have banned you, B4L and many others weeks ago :p but the truth is the mods here work hard to do right by all of you. Any moving of posts is done solely to keep the peace as best we can and make BT a fun experience for as many people as possible. Norvy's and non-Norvy's alike.

    I spoke once in this thread and I will now reconfirm that I like and support the measures you are taking to help make the board friendly for casual users like me to have space to read or write something positive about our football club. After all... we're NOT the freakin' Buffalo Bills!
