News? Or just 2 houses for sale? http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/feb/02/jammer-lists-two-homes-sale/ Chargers' Jammer lists two homes for sale Quentin Jammer, cornerback for the Chargers, and his wife have listed two homes for sale for a combined asking price of roughly $2.4 million, property records show. The Jammers are asking $1,275,000 for one property and $1,095,000 for a golf villa in the Crosby community. Both are east of Rancho Santa Fe in 92127. One estate, 15610 Hayden Lake Place, was put on the market Wednesday, while the other house, 16906 Blue Shadows Lane, was listed in August, the listings show. In addition to five bedrooms and four baths, the two-story home has custom cabinets, an audio-video system, and his and hers closets. The Jammers bought the house in Jan. 9, 2009, for $1.1 million, property records say. It has three bedrooms and three baths, with his and her vanities, soaking tub and a large walk-in closet. The listing says the home is on the largest lot of the Villas development in the Crosby community. This home was purchased April 2007 for $1,283,000, county assessor records say. Both homes are being listed by Lucy Kelts. Jammer, 32, has played for the Chargers since 2002. The Texas native last year was paid a base salary of $3.75 million, according to a salary wrap-up by the U-T San Diego, which added that 2011 was "statistically his worst season since 2008." (Clarification: We previously reported the homes are located in Rancho Bernardo and Rancho Santa Fe, based on the listings' information. We believe it is more accurate to say they're both east of Rancho Santa Fe.) Other real estate stories:
Doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the Chargers though. I remember Acee saying that Jammer's down year was partially due to some off the field issues. I could be that the Jammers are splitting up..... that could explain the selling of the houses.
Oh, so you think its the "soft" coverage? Not enough "jamming" the reciever? He's getting older, maybe he can't "cover the deep seam" anymore? Maybe we should move him to safety so he can...."fill the gap"? If we put 8 men in "the box", he could end up getting some "penetration in the backfield". Although he might have some trouble handeling all the "tight ends". Please stop me any time.....
No worries AJ will replace him. I mean you're only a charger for a year. Jammer can be filled in by any bum of the street then we get Lights Out back and we'll be the Steel Current in no time. In AJ we Trust
I read earlier in the week that Tom Brady was selling one of his homes. He must be leaving the Patriots.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut or traded.. I see a lot of moves this off season.. Jammer could be one, looks like Castillo will be one as well.. hopefully English as well.. we just need to get younger on defense
hmm selling two houses during tax time. yup he is in financial trouble. We all know you don't see right now. Summer is the time to sell when kids are out of school.
I think it's a sign that he's selling two houses and just got everyone in San Diego to read his real estate listing. Without knowing how many homes he actually owns, I don't think you can really take this to mean anything other than "Jammer is selling two buildings".
