Gaither feeling 'awesome' after cart-off Jared Gaither appears no worse for the wear after being carted off the field during Thursday's practice. The Chargers left tackle took every first-team rep at Friday morning's walk-through. All in all, he says he's fine. Better than fine, actually. "I'm awesome," Gaither said after the walk-through. "Cramp. I'll get hydrated and get back at it today." As Gaither fought off cramps Thursday in a cold tub, Mario Henderson relieved him, working with the first team in his absence. Henderson was back with the second team Friday.
Having been in a decently regimented 4-6 day a week training regimen for the last 6 months, I can say that sometimes you just overwork your body and "tweak" something. It hurts like hell and incapacitates you from being able to do any serious lifting for about a week, and then all of a sudden you feel better and can get back at it. If players have these kind of "injuries", it's not a big deal. If the words tear, sprain, broken, ripped, or ruptured don't appear in the injury report, I don't care.

I hope I never know what that's like... I've been battling with my back seizing up the past few months after a car accident and it's been BRUTAL. I don't wanna know what it'd be like to add any other body parts to that experience For the love of all that's holy Jared, for the next 7 months, stay hydrated please. You're in charge of protecting Philip and just got a sweet contract, embrace the gatorade~

Apparently Dombo is on PUP not IR now. Larry English is not practicing. Jared Gaither is. Thank god, because every game he misses we will probably lose.
Gaither showed last year that he is the lynchpin of the offense...... he must stay healthy, or we'll have another disappointing season.
