Yup. No matter how much I complain, Olivea stays so my word does not mean crap to A.J. apparently.

I'm still waiting for the Chargers to acquire a stud right tackle so Olivea can move inside.

If fans can picture McNeil on the right side - that is what we need.

Olivea at guard has been speculated in the post above (loweezy). I used to think the same thing but after watching Oliveas wheels for a few years - forget it. Olivea needs to be traded to someone who is desperate for a RT and will give us draft picks. I am dead serious.

Easier said than done. McNeill is one of the best at one of the most important positions. I just want consistency out of a right tackle and a guy with a mean streak a la Jon Runyan.

I know it is hard to do but when I see LT in the backfield after watching Brown, Sayers, Campbell, Dickerson, Sanders, Walter Payton.....man oh man. What a waste to not get this dude a Lombardi or the Rushing Title.

He won the rushing title last season.

    This year the Lombardi!

No dude the title for the most yards rushing is what I meant. It is around 2,100 yards or so (that title).

He would have to be better than Goff or a projected Olivea at guard to start and beat out the backups.

Most suspect or project Olivea at Guard because he is too short and does not seal off the edges with his penguin length arms. That opens up the right tackle spot. It also makes for more competition to make the squad at guard with this thinking and Center is pretty well filled with depth (well not really).

Yeah he would. Oben locks down his side and he can play right or left tackle without missing a beat.

I have seen a few who just adore and love Olivea at RT and I puke everytime I read it.

I'd almost forgotten about Oben. I would, in fact, put him at right tackle and move Olivea inside. Mruczkowski is the odd man out here, or maybe lekkerkerker.

I agree. I'll take Goff and Olivea over any team's second-best guard/tackle combination. To say that they suck *** is way too extreme.

    Really?

I thought Lekk did real good when he filled in for Olivea at the SF game. He picked up a couple stunts the 49ers ran, including a difficult one. Overall, I was happy with his play.

I had felt MuzzCOWski was the better overall talent, but right now, I'd have to give the nod to Lekk. We'll see in preseason ......
