Sounds great. Sprinkle it with this... <a href="http://s164.photobucket.com/albums/u19/TDamien/?action=view¤t=images-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u19/TDamien/images-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I can spit from my house to a little Mexican taquieria jes around the corner where they make the best Carne Asada tacos for breakfast, or any other time of day!!
I was watching local Channel 10 last Monday and happened to catch their guest Chef preparing a great looking shrimp dish: Chef Larry's Vera Cruz Wish they had a picture on there - then you would know why I've just GOT to give this one a shot. His beer batter recipe alone is worth a visit.
I hope you enjoy Cavender's. Here's a food porn pic of a few items I always keep on hand in my pantry...
About 30 years or so ago, the wife used to prepare a super-easy sweet snack for the kids (and the watashi) they really loved called "Bunuellos"... Flour tortillas (cut in quarters) fried until golden brown on both sides, then drained on paper towels and coated with cinnamon & sugar. YUM! She made them for us tonight... Not exactly what you would call "health food" - but they sure make a great snack.
Banana sauce.. :icon_eek: Oh that brings back memories of the "She's" thread from 2005. :icon_mrgreen: Seriously Rex, all of those seasonings look GOOD.
That bachelor isn't long for this world in his current status... Might as well give up now and head for the alter! I think of this would make a great television show on Food Network: "The Courtship of Ashton's Tummy"! As far as health food is concerned - I like this line from Jimmy Buffett: "I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead". Congrats Chispa - we are all very, very happy for you - and thanks for sharing that wonderful meal with us!
Chispa you suck at cooking, stick to gambling and taking painkillers :icon_twisted: Ashton is turning you into a monster.
That first one is damn near dead on to one of my summertime staples. I only use it with beef, though. I have never tried it with the other meats.
