Yes. Quality over quantity in italian cooking. It has beans and pasta in it so it is surprisingly filling for an appetizer although that picture does indeed represent the size you'll get at a good italian restaurant. Never had it topped with a slice of bread and flower though, that ruins it... just get the waiter to sprinkle parmesan until his arm tires

    I'm So FULL....

I got to sleep in this morning and the wife and boy woke me up w/ a triple-venti, non-fat, vanilla latte' and a key chain he had made for me in school

then my mom came over and we had mimosas and MrsLash made my favorite brealfast of SPAMhash, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy.

now I get to kick back and watch the US Open.

I hope all fathers evrywhere are having at least half as great of a day as I am. If your dad is alive call or go see him. If your dad has passed like mine take a minute with your thoughts to tell him how much you love and miss him anyway

Yeah, by Friday it will be down to 99

Actually it was hotter than 106 today. It was 111 when we were going out to eat. It is always hotter than what the forecast says. Those forecast numbers are from the airport in the shade. Always hotter around town.

Here is the 5 day forecast for you to get an idea

    bring your shorts

    Happy Dad's Day Dave!:icon_toast:
Trust me, Tom is lucky I didn't feed him nasty chorizo and toast for dinner!:icon_twisted: The man just got home from a 5 day fly-in fishing trip in Saskachewan last night. Of course he was cranky as hell.....go figure! Steph is on her last nerve dealing with the 11 yr. old boy child who is officially on summer break and seems to think I am his personal entertainment 24/7. Barky Barky Retardo Duffy the Lab managed to open my back gate this morning during a nasty thunderstorm taking Booger the Pit puppy with him. Dumbazz Tom put them in the back yard before going to church. Booger was sitting on my front porch scared out of his mind....VERY happy to see me LOL! Barky Barky was nowhere to be found. I tossed the Pit in my car and went to search for the Retardo. Finally found him miles away at another sub-division. Baztard will NOT come to you when you call him. I was chasing the brat for about an hour. At one point I spotted him, jumped out of my car and Booger dove over me. Now they are both running around like freaking maniacs! That neighborhood heard some aweful cussin' out this mouth. I snagged a tennis ball out of someone's yard and got the Pit back in my car. Finally told Duffy to kiss my azz and went home. Called Tom and told him if he wanted a live Lab back home instead of friggin road-kill in a box he better trot his happy azz over and fetch him. Sheriff's called and said they had captured him. What a way to start a day!

Born and raised in San Diego.....now reside in lovely Northern Illinois in the Libertyville-Mundelein area. It has rained damn near every day for the last two weeks. Killer mosquitos are born from all this standing water. My 25 plus bites speak to that!:lol::lol:

Hmmm.. I wonder how Booger would like roast leg of Lab in his dish? - that would slow the retard down a bit. :icon_twisted:

Steph, I'm still trying to get my mind wrapped around that menu - if this is what you do when you get pizzed, wonder if Tommy didn't leave the gate open too just to make sure he got fed?

Booger has a skin infection on the back part of his neck from Retardo chewing on him. I got to pay 110.00 bucks for his vet visit last week. I told Tom if he didn't make an appointment to get Barky Barky Retardo the Runaway neutered this week.....I will do the job myself or hire Shammie. When he came home last night all cranky....I told him to pack his chit and hit the road. He didn't leave....must have known he was going to get a good meal for Dad's Day!:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:
