I agree you can't blame him for everything but look at his track record.

Our Oline and the whole D played one of the worst games I can remember in the past 6 years.

I now have to agree. :icon_tease:

    Damn, Norv!
You missed all of those throws, blocks and catches today!

And for you,Ted. How dare you not put any pressure on Pennington? How dare you miss all of those tackles?

    Damn, I feel better,now!

They looked like they were beaten before they ever went on the field.

We started the season as a MASH unit, I'm surprised we have done this well and we still ain't out of it.:icon_shrug:

Our record describes the Chargers' quality of play better than any words:

    2-3

No one can argue with the numbers.

I thought our oline was alot better with Newberry in there.

Hardwick looks like he's still playing hurt.

He's being pushed around and dominated at the LOS.

Hardwick was pushed to the ground during LT's 4th and goal run.

I can understand the defense problems ...I don't like it but I understand.
But the play calling on offense was HORRIBLE and the play from the one yard line that was called was about as stupid a call I think I have ever seen. Norv is acting like the emporer with no clothes and thinking that he could send LT into a one yard line stand and he would score when the O line couldn't make a hole for him all day.

Coaches should use the talent they have available to their best potential keeping in mind the strength and weakness of the opponent.

Question: Was this done today by the Charger coaches???

Coaching is the problem here not the players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that coaching is a big part of our problem... but we are also getting beat on the line (both sides of the ball)...every game. The fundamentals are not sound...that falls on the coaching staff and the players up front.

Hardwick ain't right and shouldn't be playing but he does have to get into game shape.

Philip was under big pressure all day, our running game was stuffed, that's all Oline and those guys need to tighten up.

I'm too shocked for words. We played like a crippled baitfish just waiting to be gobbled up.

Ted Cottrell is dead to me.

I think the team was suffering from jet lag. Just wait till we have to go to Great Britain.

Let's not forget about the Bills before that. Edwards went down today (still don't know the extent of the injury), Losman had one good play to Evans.

The Pats looked inconsistent in their win at SF.

The next 3 games will be crucial for us. If we don't win them all going into the break...ugh...I don't want to think about it.

That is as good of an excuse as any other I have heard.
No worry...next week they will get their beauty sleep. The poor guys have had it rough this week. Next week they can sleep in on Sunday. The bunch of pansies better get off their sorry a### and wake up, or this season will be over before they know it…there is plenty of time to sleep in the off season!

There's something really scary about the Dolphins. They made us look like a Div. 1-AA team. I didn't see the game today, but, judging from the reactions they did the same to you.

I liked it much better when the Phins were a door mat.

I will say the score was not an indication of how bad we were beaten. The Bolts had a chance, but could not step up.

I would like to see Ted jump off the sideline and tackle someone then say "THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT"...maybe that would fire up our defense.

Just suit his fat *** up & let him lie on the field. Having to run around him will tire the other team out. :icon_tease:

He might be able to teach Cooper how not to jump offsides.

Cooper was all about Cooper today. Not a good first game. When he finally made a play with less than four minutes left he was smiling and talking smack...we were still getting our butts kicked!

You know what though, I GUARANTEE YOU that if we kick the field goal there and the game ends 17-13, we have a forum full of "Norv is a p*ssy, he should have gone for it" posts.

The Chargers just played like **** today and got their asses handed to them.

Yep, we didn't show up, we need to get some heart or pack it in. Our player's think they can just show up and win. How mistaken they are.

This is two games in a row. They have had only one good offensive quarter in two games.

And no SDRaiderH8er, I am not done crying yet. :icon_sad:
