 Just goes to show that you can't take a some "brothers" at their word... It's really ironic to a degree - someone that professes to have "balls" and yells "trust a brother" ends up showing that they have no testies and that their word is worthless :icon_shrug:Not surprised... ... of course - it only effects the ending sequence. Maybe the title should be changed to...[snip] <snip></snip>
Spoke briefly to Shamrock this evening. Got a good laugh at the suggestion of going with Moo-Man-Do. So I guess we'll take it unless somebody comes up with something absolutely brilliant before the end of the post-production. With this you have earned yourself a slot in the credits. I was thinking of adding a subtitle in much smaller characters reading... The Emergence of Forum Gawd. What do you think?
Excellent. As I said to Ron on the main board... I will pm you a bit of a questionaire when we get closer to the "event". It is so that I will know what to ask you and not to be searching for the right question when the time is tight. Do not worry about what Tony says. I do not think he is paranoid so much as he simply does not want me to succeed. Sure you can manipulate the context of things a bit in the editing... but at the end of the day I cannot put a gun to somebody's head and make the say something they do not want to. The part of getting to know people is too much fun to be constantly thinking about manipulations.
I suppose there will be a lot of discussion about that when the schedule comes out. We will have to find something which allows the greatest participation.
I am thinking about a 30 sec. montage to establish the arrival in San Diego. That would be 15 to 20 shots. Does anybody here have an idea how much time I should plan if I should take a tour of the city and get the essentials? Do any of you locals have a standard scenic tour you do for when you get out of town visitors?
Everyone will have a different idea on this one. For me, it depends on the age of the visitors. Older folks I tour by car through downtown, Coranado (Hotel Del), La Jolla, maybe Sea World, PB, Balboa Park, Old Town, Seaport Village, etc. My age group, mostly cycling around Misson/Pacific Beach area unless someone has a specific place that they want to visit.
Good question. My wife considers all things football related to be fun and games. There is no doubt that all lot of the entertainment industry generates large revenues and is taken very seriously by some. I think that the bet highlighted in this thread is an opportunity to portray what goes on in football forums in a humorous light. This does not much to do with the "serious" side of sports entertainment.
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww shall we shag now or shag later? Heed the new avatar.
We may then have to change the name to: "The Bolttalk Sex Tapes" "I did not have sexual relations with that woman..."
I envision a series of... Moo Man Does "...." variations. (maybe with that splooging Marty puppet throwing in a challenge flag at the most inopportune moment).
Well, the question could be asked, "who takes forums seriously" as well... ... would suppose that the real question is how would one define "serious" - as in to what degree of seriousness :icon_huhnot that I can be accused of being serious very often:no. Maybe some other examples would shed light on things. If Kwak didn't pay out on the bolt cash for bets, could anyone complain? After all, "who takes forum bets seriously"? Then there is the case of 'signature bets' and the like between fans of opposing teams. If a fan of a team that played the Chargers made such a 'signature bet' with a Charger fan in the forums and then poosed out after the game, couldn't they say, "who takes forum bets seriously?" It's one thing to simply say, "I'll bet ya such and such does or doesn't occur", etc.. However, when someone 'bellies up' with bravado and agrees to distinct parameters for a bet in the type scenario that occurred it becomes somewhat apparent that there is some degree of "seriousness" involved... more so when it involves someone whom beats the proverbial "trust a brutha" and "I gots bawls" tomtoms so much and thinks nothing of berating others, including the obnoxiously inane "LT pussed out" blather. Seems too that someone takes the film somewhat serious, rather than as the light-hearted deal it is - considering their statements regarding what they perceive to be its insidious nature:rolleyes2: I suppose that sdbound won't get his beer from the biatch either...
Maybe the subtitle for that one could be "The Moo-moo Who Shagged Me" or maybe "Moo-Man-Do-SD" after an infamous film of a similiar name and genre?
Subtitles should be subtle... and have multiple meanings... maybe "The Burning Bush" would fit. However, considering what could 'emerge' though, yours might not be bad either
