You don't really believe that do you? I'm not talking about Trumpet, I just think its bogus that you have to dig around for some "bet" made a year ago, and try to get a rise out of someone at the tailgate. Everything else you mentioned is pure forum blather that happens on every message board in existence. It seems that some people are taking these things way more seriously than I thought. If you're letting Trumpet's schtick get to you, well.......
T-man doesn't matter that much. If he plays along fine... if not fine too. Obviously the tailgaters consider themselves an important part of the forum culture and therefore should be included. It is really up to them how they want to be portrayed. There are exhibitionist tendencies all over internet forums. Let's see if those involved run and hide, become abusive or have some fun. Any which ever response is good enough to edit into the film.
"You"?? You obviously have me confused with someone else... ... moi did no "digging". I was around when the bet was originally placed and did wonder if it would ever be 'paid off' within the "later this year or next year" time frame as set forth in the original bet. However...I had nothing to do with Sandolf's deciding to do a film which might include the 'payoff' of said bet, nor with it being brought up at this point in time. What I did do after reading the threads associated with it was to make comments on it - just as you have. I also do find it and much surrounding it absolutely hilarious - including your comments. Thanks for your part in providing some laughs :icon_toast:
