Yeah, and I hope it doesnt lead to the same results as the last time a GM tried this, the GM named Bethard.

The Kool-Aid that AJ handed out looked and smelled horrible but I drank it anyway in hope that it would bring good things.

It tasted as horrible as it looked and smelled but I held it in my stomach still hoping it would bring good things.

Finally all the nasty bacterias took it's toll on my stomach and I vomited.

AJ handed me another cup but I wasn't exactly ready to go through this again. So I set it down and thought about it. After awhile, it didn't look as bad as the first cup. So I drank it. This time, it wasn't as tough to stomach and renewed my hope for good things.
Good things came but the drink was not potent enough to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. But I figured the next cup would be even better. Better yet, I might not even need another drink.

Well I need another drink but what AJ is now serving is so nasty that it has flies swarming around it. He has horns coming out of his head and fire surrounding him as he tells me to drink it.

All I can do is hope for a better drink next season.
A better person to deliver it too.

    Hah nicely put

It's terrible to say that we'll just have to wait for next season, cuz the off season lasts for F**KING ages!

And some seriously massive things need to change in that time

Nope. Cowher wants his and Norv's job. So Spanos will have to be the one to talk to Cowher.

...Oh, it means EVERYTHING. He's an EXPERIENCED underacheiver as a head coach. He's had his chance as far as I'm concerned. 15-11 with Super Bowl level talent just doesn't get it done. He's got 6 games to make the play-offs and their level of supposed talent should get them past everyone except maybe the Titans if they get there. What are the fans supposed to do, wait until A.J. FINALLY understands that for WHATEVER reason, Norv's teams just don't seem prepared or intense enough to take a football field? It's even becoming more difficult to repair personnel mistakes or rebuild when A.J. keeps overpaying for white boys with heart (Hester and Weddle). We're pissed and for good reason whether A.J. agrees or not.

Just look at the 49ers, Raiders and Chiefs for example. They are undermanned but playing with tremendous drive and heart. They are hanging with teams much more talented, two of them having undergone mid-season coaching changes. Why is it soooooo hard for Norv to get his team intense?

Tony Dungy is an exception to the rule...but they have Peyton Manning. Nearly every successful coach in history is intense as a leader, fiery in personality. Lombardi, Noll, Parcells, Walsh, Belichick, Holmgren, Cowher...you can run names forever. They are intense and their players either play that same way or they are gone!

SMACK? Why did this get moved? Fire Norv if he doesn't get us to the playoffs but ONLY if he doesn't get us to the playoffs. I'd be understanding but still a little wary of firing him if we go one-and-done but if we miss the postseason entirely his *** is grass. Throw Rivera up there or try to pick up a proven head coach, maybe even a proven college head coach. Norv Turner is a disspointment.

If you're going to cry for the past why not go big and cry for gilman or coryell?
