    QUESTION FOR MODS/ADMINISTRATORS

    Please list your criteria for moving a post to the "FLAME WAR THREAD"

    I've had some of my posts moved there, and justifiably so... However when I read some of the other posts in that thread... ex: some of B4L's posts... it makes me wonder why some of the posts that he's responded to weren't moved to this thread as well.

    An example would be the last post in the thread....

    It is the moderators choice to move a post or not.

    So are you saying you can't or won't list the criteria for moving a post to this thread?

    I would think there would be some kind of criteria set so as to assure that it was applied fairly to all situations. Otherwise it would be considered arbitrary.

    I am saying that typically there is more going on behind the scenes. Stuff that will not be dragged out to the main forum no matter what you want.

    I can understand the behnd the scenes stuff and I'm NOT asking for that to be brought to the main forum... BUT.... it is clear to me that posts of B4L are brought here quite a bit when I can easily, I mean easily, find posts that should be here as well.

    I'm sure I'm not the only one that kind of wonders how you make the choice to move a post here. I'm hoping FAVORTISM isn't at play... cause it kind of looks that way.

    The criteria to move a post to the flame wars thread can be summed up in two words, "Moderator's Discretion". Hope that answers your question in full.

    This section of the forum is intended for legitimate requests for help or to give legitimate feedback on how we can make BoltTalk the best forum possible. It appears this thread is actually an attempt to call out a moderator for the job he's doing.

    If you've got a personal issue with a moderator here, bring it to my attention. This is not the place complain about moderators, period.
